  1. Seems to good to be true… An all included (other than alcohol) cruise, in a balcony Mediterranean cruise for 100,000 credit card points…
  2. I’m a Virgin for anything Virgin.. Just saw this post…I have a lot of Chase Sapphire Preferred points,…I signed up today for all the Virgin apps including Virgin Atlantic Flying Cub, Virgin Red, and Virgin Voyages. My question is, if I transfer my Chase points to Virgin Flying Club, can I then transfer them to Virgin Red? I understand this cruise promotion is a Virgin Red promotion?
  3. Still trying to figure out the Blue Chip thing, I did sign up at some point in the recent past, not sure when…I had a “status” on my last Celebrity cruise, but received nothing since or before the cruise.
  4. Rock Chalk!! I’m stealing your profile pic. I’m far from upset from turning my 275 into 2200 I just did not know I was buying “promotional” chips. Lesson learned Buyer beware
  5. I like Eden, La Voyage, Rooftop grill, Fine cut, shore excursions, so those are what I’m spending OBC on. Never considered buying Apple products on a cruise ship.
  6. I purchased $250 table games credit and got a 10% bonus ($275 total). I had about $75 of OBC left so it actually cost me $175 of my own money…When I went to the casino I received my $275 worth of “promotional” chips. Unknown to me theses chips CANNOT be cashed in, you essentially need to lose them. When playing the promotional chips any winnings are payed out in “normal” chips…. Unless you have OBC that you have no other use for I would never buy these promotional chips again.
  7. I used NCL for flights for a NCL cruise and will never use any cruise line for flights, there really was no "problem" other than they choose the worst possible routes and connections. Got home at 1am the next day, no thanks.
  8. From my January Beyond cruise: 1. Le Voyage 2. Eden 2X 3. Rooftop (food was great, a bit windy and cool) 4. Fine cut
  9. Agree, they have to be accurate on what is being served, mainly for inventory purposes. If they keep pouring wine A, but charge for wine B it creates a major inventory/supply problem, which they don't need anymore supply headaches....
  10. I agree, I still can't seem to find the Celebrity ship called Connie.
  11. I know it's weird that the cruise I booked in 2018 for 2019 is not the same price for the cruise I booked in 2023 for 2024. Very fishy.
  12. The E-class ships do not have a basketball court, they do have ping pong tables. If he likes the pool the E-class ships have a large pool, it may be the largest at sea?? There are typically "sport type" things done on the pool deck each day (pool volleyball, football toss, golf chipping, bags, ect...)
  13. My sister had 7 points, but never sailed X and she was a “preview”
  14. Ate at Rooftop on Beyond in January on a western Caribbean cruise, we were given blankets because it was a bit windy and chilly. They attempted to enclose/shelter Rooftop more on Beyond than it is on Apex. The food and service was very good.
  15. Only ate once in a MDR on Beyond in January, service was not good, only red meat option was a sirloin, it was okay, we didn't stick around for the desert. After an hour and half we were ready to leave.
  16. I do not recall were I saw it, I also thought Captain Kate mentioned she knows the name of the 5th ship, but obviously was not telling...
  17. Celebrity has already ordered a 5th E-class ship. Delivery in Q4 2024
  18. Ask the lady who came on here unintentionally bragging about wondering around the ship with Covid and bitching about how unsanitary the OVC was.
  19. Was in aft cabin 9329 and there was zero ‘banging” Never heard a single complaint from anyone I spoke to.
  20. I've been on Apex, Beyond and NCL Encore, however not in the suites. Doubt I'll sail NCL ever again.
  21. If you drink I would recommend the package, on my January Beyond cruise, the drinks were very very inconsistent all over the ship, the magic carpet's "signature" drink I had three times and all three were completely different in color and taste. I do my best not to waste, but several times I just couldn't stomach the drink. About the only bar that could mix the same drink night after night was the Martini bar, Eden bar was just as bad as the rest of the ship.
  22. I was on Beyond 1/15-1/22 and would have a similar review about the dinning, especially Ocean View for dinner, it was awful. Le Voyage was wonderful, as it should be for $90pp, Eden was good for us as well. The pool deck on sea days was like a funeral, boring, no band, no DJ, still don't know who are cruise director was... I have a 10 day March 2024 Ultimate S. Caribbean booked...seriously considering cancelling, not sure I could have been on the last cruise 3 more days (first time I've ever felt this way) I am pretty easy to please, and hate coming on here seeing negativity....but I just want to inform those who have not sailed in 1.5years or so, IT IS DIFFERENT.
