  1. Wanted a true balcony vs infinite balcony when I booked and sunset veranda was still available. Would only bid on sky suite or aqua class suite and has to have a sofa bed for my adult daughter so most are in a good location. Will have to see what the bid range is. If not very happy with my cabin.

  2. Thanks!  I trust what I read here vs random YouTube videos but wanted to make sure as things seem to always change.

I won't count on being able to change locations but good to know its a possibility.

Also I know that since I have three adults in the room, whatever I bid will be times 2 and not 3.

  3. Okay - I have read through numerous posts on this subject, checked the celebrity website and checked facebook groups.

    1. I booked a Sunset Veranda on the Apex for three adults in the room

    2. I have purchased the All Included fare that includes the classic drink package and basic WIFI

    3. I purchased the upgrade to the Premium Drink Package

What I believe to be true If I bid and have the bid accepted on a suite -

    1. I keep my existing paid for drink package and WIFI

    2. I will be moved into the category that I bid on but will not know the location of the room until bid is accepted and cannot be changed

    3. I will be able to eat in Luminae

    4. I will have access to the Retreat Sundeck and Lounge

    5. If I upgrade to an Aqua Class Suite, I will have access to Blu and the Spa Sea Thermal Suite

Please confirm if I am correct.

I came across a couple of YouTube videos where they have said this is not true that you only get the room, no access to Luminae, Retreat area, Blu or Thermal suite. They state it is room only and nothing more.  I believe that this is incorrect but want to confirm before any bidding.

    Thanks in advance!!

  4. We liked it because we had three adults in the room.  The room that we had was a loft that had a full bed up a ladder.  Fine for an adult, but if someone had mobility issues wouldn't work.  Had a small kitchen sink, fridge and a microwave.  Did not include breakfast. Nothing fancy but was clean and nice and close to the cruise terminal.  Would stay there again but this year sailing with celebrity and believe they sail from either the 101 (City Cruise Terminal) or 102 (Horizon) so booked the Novotel.

  5. I thought that the room that they had must have been some strange discounted category but I looked up the room layouts - why why why would you not have a door to the bathroom.  That is just a gross layout - sorry don't want to watch someone washing up or brushing their teeth with the sink in front of the bed.  And to dry off from the shower in front of the cabin door.... words can't describe it.  I am booked on the Aqua for 2026 and quickly checked the balcony room layout - looks like just the Epic has this.  Glad for the videos as would never have thought that such a strange layout existed.

  6. Hope that Ben and David are reading this. Love love love their reviews. To the point and entertaining.  The purpose of reviews, including those on this forum, are to hear about the experience of others. Maybe I don’t care if a ship appears dated, maybe I don’t care if food for specific diets is limited, maybe I don’t care if the pools are crowded but maybe others do.  I appreciate the time that people spend commenting on their experience to benefit others and also to provide entertainment.  We are all fortunate to be able to travel and share experiences on this and other forums. Planning is half the fun.

  7. Looking into 2026 cruises and most that I look at still only show Standard or Plus, no Premier yet.

Still a lot of time to book but prior to the announcement of changes to Premier I had been able to cost out the price of the Premier option.

Leaning toward Premier as we do like the higher end wines and liquor.  Plus would be fine for most cocktails and mixed drinks.

Wish they would get the website updated.  I know I could probably call to book but will wait until it shows on the website for now.

  8. We stayed 3 nights in London at the Park Plaza Westminster Bridge.  Great location.  This time we are staying at the Marlin London Bridge.  As there are three adults the London Bridge location has two bedroom units and are more comfortable now with the transportation to the Waterloo station.  We walked last time from the Park Plaza.

  9. Updated on Princess website -

Will I still receive the new perks of Princess Premier® if I purchased the package at the old rate of $80 per day?
You can absolutely upgrade to receive the new perks of Princess Premier® at the new price of $90 per day by paying the $10 difference per day. If you do not wish to upgrade, you can enjoy the package with the original perks as you initially purchased them.

  10. We stayed at Room2 in Southampton.  Nice place, did not include breakfast but we bought doughnuts at Krispy Kreme at the westquay mall the night before to have in the morning.  They do have a coffee shop in the hotel.  Small but very nice and we walked over to our cruise - Princess out of Ocean Cruise Terminal Berth 46 about a 10 min walk.  Could see the cruise ship from the room.  For 2025 booked into the Novotel as cruise is with Celebrity and will probably be out of the Horizon or City Terminal.  There is also the Moxy by Marriott in the area of Horizon and City terminal.  We walked to the White Star for fish and chips the night before.

  11. It finally went through but not easily.  The excursion starts at 10:30 and has an 8 hour duration.  Ship gets in at 10:00 and leaves at 6:00 so right there excursion has us back after the ship leaves.  Figure they will eventually get the duration correct.  Found that since it thinks the excursion ends at 6:30 must have run into issues with our booked MDR reservation at 6:30.  Cancelled the dinner, almost able to book the excursion put in credit card info but said -  it wasn't available and will send me back to the cart.  Tried going back in and site was having issues.  Waited and and received a confirmation that it is booked.  Have the email, shows the pending transaction on my credit card, shows as reserved on the website.  App is still showing old excursion.  Hopefully will eventually catch up.

  13. Cancelled my excursion about an hour ago but won't let me book a different one.  Keeps showing I have a booking at the same time.  In the App shows in my timeslot still but there is an option to rebook so it sort of knows its cancelled.  Received the cancellation page confirmation and email.  I'll wait a few hours a try again.  Hopefully the site will work.  Cruise is for 2025

  14. Decided to change my excursion.  Did the cancel and received the cancellation info and email.

When trying to book a different one won't let me as thinks I have one booked.

Waited an hour but still can't.  In the App shows I have it but has an option to rebook it so somewhat knows its cancelled.

Maybe if I wait longer it will clear up.  There is a flash sale on now so hopefully can book it later.

    Cruise isn't until 2025

  15. In April we just did three nights in London, took the train from Waterloo station and spent one night in Southampton.  Very nice place to walk around and go to a local pub.  Walked to our ship the next morning.  Loved London, doing the exact same next year but a different cruise.
