Cool Cruiser

Cool Cruiser (2/15)

  1. Can always ask for them when embarking ship anyway ……
  2. Was on 20-day Antarctica Deep South cruise on Silver Endeavour last February, no formal nights at all, smart casual is good enough for evenings.

We received our luggage tags sent to our home a couple weeks before our Serenity cruise last month
  4. For men, tie is optional even for formal night, I just finished a cruise on Serenity last week and didn’t even bring a tie, no problem.
  5. My last cruise on the Serenity, the 2019 NewYear/Christmas cruise to the Hawaiian Islands(booked cruise on refurbished Serenity this October🥰) …
  6. Yay !!! always love dining there😋😍
  7. I usually don’t take pictures of carpets lol, but I think I can find a few pictures of the nightly menu on the old Crystal, if anyone can post what they have …
  8. Don’t worry, it will not be a suite downgrade
  9. Were on the Odyssey to Alaska on the cruise before yours and we had the printed copy of The Herald delivered automatically to the room on the bed every night since day one. Agree with the excursions being well done and enjoyable. Agree with food overall being variable/inconsistent, and I would say the same even for Thomas Keller. I think all the staff are great though, at least those I have interacted with.
  10. They have now decided to charge for boot rentals for the Antarctica expedition cruises, but throw in free rental for them for the Antartica bridge cruises, I guess they charge enough money for those to throw them in🙄
  11. Grand Marnier soufflé was on the menu of the MDR one of the evenings of our Alaskan cruise a couple weeks ago on the Seabourn Odyssey…
  12. I think they are better too, they look different, shorter and thicker …
  13. I booked the lowest priced suite on the Explorer before they changed the website to indicate Endeavour because The Endeavour is all verandah suites anyway, and besides, having a verandah is not that big of a requirement for Antarctica especially if you have to pay much more, since you will most likely not spend much time out in your verandah because of the extreme temperature, you will have to be all wrapped up for warmth, so you might as well go out to the public decks to get views from multiple angles instead of the limited view from the verandah of your suite if you have to be fully wrapped up.
