Stephanie, I am currently on this cruise. I just saw your message and went down to reception where I spoke with an employee named Yolanda. She confirmed that your mother is indeed onboard since yesterday. While I was standing there, Yolanda also called her room and left a message that you are trying to get in touch with her and that you would like her to contact you. Hopefully you can connect soon, but at least she is on the ship. Karla

Clay, Mike & I visited Chobe National Park during our May 2023 Africa Safari trip. We were in Chobe specifically on May 5 & 6. We had tons of wildlife viewing: lions, giraffes, elephants, Cape buffalo, impala, kudu, hippos, lots of birds. I think April would also be good, it’s far enough at the end/past rainy season. I think it will depend greatly on who they get to do the safari. The guides all work together via radio. Karla

It was a paid excursion, listed at 10 hours (we went over about 30 minutes) and covering 150 miles to drive The Great Ocean Road. It cost $229. We received a box lunch with numerous sandwiches/wraps, fruit cup, and dessert while in Apollo Bay. Some people opted to eat in one of the numerous restaurants instead. We had about 7 stops (including the Twelve, lunch and 2 comfort stops).

World Cruise, Port: Geelong (Melbourne), Australia Twelve Apostles, Koalas, and Cockatoos We went on “The Great Ocean Road and the Twelve Apostles” Viking excursion from Geelong (Melbourne), Australia today. Highlight for me was seeing 3 Koalas in the wild. Luckily our bus driver was able to pull over. Enjoy. Feel free to save/share

For those seeing the birds off the port side this morning, they were Atlantic Brown Boobies. There was also one Magnificent Frigate Bird for a short time. We will see many more Frigate birds as we get closer to the Panama Canal. These are seabirds and live at sea all year round except for nesting, when they go to a site (usually an island) that they use each year.

Clay, My hubby usually wears 2XLT. We ordered him a 3XL for the reasons you described. The 3XL sleeves come down past his wrist, but the body was too big. He swapped for a 2XL which has sleeves that do not quite reach his wrists, but he likes the overall fit better. He is 6’2” 240 lbs, with long torso/arms (thus the tall). He says it’s similar to other 2XL (non T) sleeve lengths. So it will come down to whether too baggy or wrist coverage is more important to you.
