You and my hubby would get along well. He tips at Guest Services, the pizza guy, the sandwich lady, the omelet maker. People I would never think of to tip.

We have hung birthday banners and balloons. You might also check out Carnival's offerings. I ordered Happy Birthday decorations for a recent cruise and it looked great. My husband was surprised and really enjoyed them - especially his special pillowcase.

For our upcoming Pride cruise, we are being picked up at London Gatwick and dropped off at our hotel in Dover. Then being picked up at the port of Dover and driven to our hotel in London.

Same with us in both PC and Miami. As to excursions, we have done three Elites, and never offered more than a choice of two excursions. On the upcoming Pride cruise, both were for Icelandic ports, so no options for Dublin, Belfast or Kirkwall. We just elected to take the credit and will book something on the ship.

Iceland has been on our list. Shopping for it has been interesting. Who knew there was such a thing as rain pants? Luckily my daughter, who has spent some time in Alaska, gave me the heads up. But I am going to virtually enjoy your warm Caribbean cruise before I pack for my decidedly colder one.

Loved the pics. It is interesting how some people are dressed for the cold and others in shorts. I will be the one is the sweater and vest.

I was shocked there weren’t more for the Mardi Gras. There are a bunch out of Galveston.

From my March Elite cruise on the Celebration Started off with a nice cocktail party with lovely food. They gave away three prizes and introduced the hosts, Denver, Dion, Maya and Darrien (think he is in training). You go to the casino cage to get parking reimbursed (did not need a receipt) and the Platinum bonus $25. Casino was busy but could always find a machine. Drawing at 11 each night (except the last day, when the drawing was at 4) and games included Matilda, Bubbles, Super Joker and Fill my Bag. As to gifts, we got the wine and cheese basket, a Carnival Swiss army type tool, eight cookies, and two waterproof speakers. Very nice gifts this time. We choose one of the offered excursions and all of the hosts were there, though they kept to themselves for the most part. If you choose the credit instead, it is $150 per person, for up to two people. I was also given dinner for two at Rudi’s but for the first time, it didn’t include a bottle of wine. With Free Drinks Everywhere for both myself and my husband, we really didn't miss it. And $100 for Bonsai Sushi, which was a feast! Hard for two people to eat $100 of sushi, but they do have a steak which was very good. Only the Elite players were eligible for the drawings. Our pre-ordered (free) tequila, vodka, and mixers were waiting in the cabin. Over the course of the week, there were some really big jackpots won. The highest I heard was $23,000, but several more were over $10,000. I won two small jackpots, one each on the last two days.

We did one in late March and have the next one coming up at the end of this month. Love the Elite treatment!

Pretty sure there were some for the fall. I did the best I could in copying the list. So there may be more.

Today was my early access day and most of the offers are for later this fall or next year. I already have cruises booked through the end of next year. Unless they add some more options, I won't be booking any of the Elite cruises this time.

On this one, I would simply chose by price. The ships are similar enough. The Legend has more "free" lunch options than the Radiance OTS, but the Radiance is likely a little more elegant than the Legend. Carnival has more comedy than RC. Both will have production shows, trivia, music, etc. Either way, we love cruising out of Tampa and sailing under the Sunshine Skyway. It occurs about two hours after you leave the port.

You will enjoy the setup of the casino on the Mardi Gras. Most of the MG casino is non-smoking, including the host stand and the cage. The smokers are in a smaller room, which is adjacent to the casino bar. Because of the setup, there is much less smoke in the main casino. And due to the close proximity, both smokers and non can hear the names being drawn to participate in casino games. I find this a huge improvement over the older ships.

If I am understanding this correctly, you are asking if the conversion van will fit in the garage. However, you also have a handicapped tag or sticker. If all of that is right, I think you could park (maybe free) at the port in the surface lot. If not, there are a number of offsite parking places near Port Canaveral. We have used two of them and were quite happy with the service.

Thanks for doing this. l am enjoying it. We disembarked once in Long Beach and I loved that port. It is so different than the ones we have in Florida.
