  1. Just saw a 7 new article where Richard Branson had a danceoff with Raygun on a Scarlett Lady. Not sure ifnthat is a good or bad sign about them ever returning here.
  2. The traditional dinning room only has the two times (about 5am and 7:20/7:30/7:40 depending on the ship) however, the second dining room has reservable times every 20min.
  3. Seems a lot of people over in princess forum have been having a lot of issues making their bookings. I was hopeful to book traditional late for a shared table, but seems the late slot for traditional only has private tables. Not sure if this is a bug or how it is supposed to work. Cruse is in Jan, so I might leave it for a week to see if that changes.
  4. Not knowing isn't great. Is it worth waiting to see if the "bug" is fixed. Or do we suck it up and go with what is available, assuming it is a "feature" and options will only get worse as they book up.
  5. Seeing that a few of us can't booked shared for late traditional sittings, it would have to be a bug or design feature. I originally assumed it might be booked out on my cruise (Jan 2025), but can't see that being the case for all of us.
  6. Have you tried closing the app down and then reopening it? I had that issue earlier and this worked for me (I knew I was paid in full)
  7. I'm having the same issue.
  8. 3) I'm having the opposite issue. I was hoping to book late traditional dining on a shared table, but seems I can only do late slot on a private table (not what I want as a solo).
  9. I guess we need to encourage everyone to use the current products so the supply is used up quicker (I say this as someone who always takes my own products on a cruise. 😜)
  10. I can fully understand that. Alaska is a bucket list for me. But not foreseeable future. My work really limits how long I can take off.
  11. Seems season 1 is on Binge if anyone is looking for it 😉
  12. Don't tease us with the suggestion of a winter princess season. 😜
  13. I watched this episode too, it was facinating to watch. The way some of the ship crew acted was a bit iffy, but I have a lot of respect for the entertainment crew who pulled through. I'm also, odd. I know that this show would turn a lot of people off cruising, but I found it reassuring to know that everyone survived despite all the errors.
  14. I wonder if their big bosses are working in a mindset of, "we don't care if the locals aren't happy. We have more ships down there than anyone else, if they want to cruise, they will come to us." Edit: however, it is also a seems a bit silly that they didn't run a bit more Carnival centric advertising down here before pulling the plug on P&O. I've seen a bit more for other Carnival owned lines on TV this year, but not Carnival itself. (I tend to be sceptic of big cooperation's view of their customers)
  15. Yeah, I've been doing some reading over in the Carnival form (some of the attitudes have remindedme we I stay out of there). Seems a lot are excited for the possibilities the two "new" ships will bring. But they really aren't new. Wasn't P&O Australia basically been the retirement home for Princes ships? Edit: shoutout to the Aussies defending us in the other pages.
  16. The vibe is what I was wondering about when they said it would be "buisness as usual" untill March. I would personally hate to be on the February sailings.
  17. Anyone notice an increase of P&O ads on social media this week. Then in the comments they are having to explain that there are still cruises untill march. 🤣
  18. I'm now imagining everyone on the last few P&O sailing decked out in full victorian mourning gear. An absolutely halarious mental image.
  19. I just see this as as meaning the can pull the ships from down here when they want to. A bit harder to do if the ships are sailing under P&O "Australia"
  20. The thing which worries me is the "buisness as usual until March 2025." Maybe they don't plan any changes yet, but situations like this can be hard on staff (even if the same parent company). Mix that with customers having their last "P&O AU cruise" and I can see a change to the atmosphere onboard in the coming months. (Or maybe I'm just salty over past experiences with things like company merges from an employees perspective 😅).
  21. I wouldn't mind stopping in there on a cryise, but I wouldn't be in a rush to be yhe first on these new iteneries. I'll let the work out all the kinks before I go.
  22. Might be worth getting a second pillow for travel? When you get home you can douse it with bug spray and let hit air out and still have a clean pillow to sleep on that night.
  23. I'm so sorry to here that this experience has been so awful for you. The presence of those bed bug would have been bad enough without then dealing with this ongoing fallout. Honestly, I don't blame you for not taking part in the Accurate Affairs interview. Personally I never trust those sorts of shows to present things fairly, they just go for the story which will get them the most views.
  24. The idea of bed bugs and the possibility of bringing them home terrifies me. I've never encountered any, but still always check and take precautions. I'm doing a week trip to Sydney soon and my sister plans to take her own pillow and blanket to the hotel. I would never do that for fear of bed bugs coming home.
