Cool Cruiser (2/15)

  1. On my recent cruise, it was only open for dinner. Breakfast & Lunch (when held) were in one of the larger dining rooms. From my perspective, it was nice to check out a different room for lunch.
  2. Before my recent cruise on the MSC Seashore, I was searching for some information on the Behind the Scenes Ship Tour "Excursion" and I had a challenge finding information. So my fellow travelers do not have to search in vain, please see attached for the flyer obtained last week! 🙂 On this particular sailing, the first part (Backstage Areas) was held during a day at sea and the Bridge Tour was on the day in Nassau. You can buy only one part of the tour or both. Unfortunately, the first part was at 8:45 am and we didn't inquire about it until after 9 am so I cannot speak to the actual tour. This is just about providing the information for others. I recommend you stop by the Excursion desk early in your trip to get the exact times and sign up if you are interested. I've never seen it available pre-trip. Enjoy! MSC Ship Tour Flyer.pdf
  3. Just off the Edge a couple of weeks ago. No charge for items in Eden Cafe for Breakfast or Lunch. However, they were only open on Sea Days, not Port Days. If you order a hot item (like a sandwich), they will give you a buzzer so you can find a seat and then come back when it is ready. Every thing I had there was very tasty and fresh. Note on the Cinnamon Rolls - they had the same ones at Cafe Al Bacio in the free pastry case. They weren't warm, which I would have preferred, but still tasty. The menu should show up in the Celebrity App. You just need to move ahead to Day 2 or Day 3 to see the Breakfast/Lunch option.
  4. For those that have had the larger angled balconies on deck 8,9, etc. - were you successful in getting a lounger put out there? We have one next week and it would be nice to have something beyond the standard chair. Thank you!
  5. Good day everyone. Thought I would share the Cruise Compass from Mariner last week. I always find them helpful when planning my future adventures. If anyone has any questions about the voyage, send them my way. Safe travels! Mariner CC - Day 1.pdf Mariner CC - Day 2.pdf Mariner CC - Day 3.pdf Mariner CC - Day 4.pdf
