  1. Being of Dutch decent, there is rarely a meal I eat that does not include the gloriousness that is cheese. Therefore, I have no common frame of reference from which to answer your question.
  2. Nice work. Let's make it 8%. That means 1840 souls out of your 2000 like cheese. That's probably why you see it, a lot. 😄
  3. Is this now a certainty? I knew it was done on the Joy, but the infrastructure was already there from the original build. Not so with the Encore. Going to be a lot more work than the Joy.
  4. Just a guess, but any cruiser interested in HAL who regularly watches Gary probably already knows about Club Orange. His audience is well established, and he hasn't attracted a significant number of new subscribers for several years. I knew about CO long before I was ever interested in actually cruising with HAL.
  5. Adult only until 7:00 pm, free, pool depends on ship. Don't know if Getaway has one.
  6. There is no guaranty of seeing the northern lights anywhere at anytime. I hope you're lucky and don't get the clouds of doom. 😆
  7. I was one of those people -- twice. Now, you can easily log off using the Internet icon in the NCL app. You still have to remember to do it, but at least it's easy.
  8. Who doesn't like cheese? Like, .0263% of the population of the planet? 😄
  9. I agree, because people like caterpa think my wife should take all her stuff to the bathroom with her and lose her chair. Ridiculous.
  10. Others can chime in, but I would personally advise against this. It was automatic for me the first time, and it was disappointing, to say the least. The breading was thick, doughy, with no crunch at all. The actual seafood was small and was overwhelmed by the breading. In the end, I just took off all the breading and ate the seafood. Not at all satisfying. My wife, on the other hand, absolutely loved the grilled sea bass.
  11. Just to be clear, are you talking only about chair hogs who don't show up, or leave, for hours? Or are you talking about those who are gone for 5-minutes to get a drink? I think you can agree they are not the same. I've seen the "policy" enforced, but as with many NCL policies, very rarely/barely.
  12. Current "policy" is removal of items after a certain time. I doubt the chair hogs agree with this policy. Although I'm sure they're happy that it's rarely/barely enforced. As you are in the "leave it and lose it immediately" category, please explain how going to the restroom, getting a drink, or taking a quick dip in the pool can possibly mean that you lose your chair? In what surreal world does this possibly make sense?
  13. I'm absolutely certain we will, soon, if CCL doesn't get much backlash for it.
  14. On a 21-day, we never had the same menu twice.
  15. That's just foolish. Never gonna happen. What does she do when she takes a quick dip in the pool to cool off? Bring everything with her to the edge of the pool? You post a lot of words, but I don't think you've actually thought it through.
  16. So let me get this straight. If my wife is on the lido by herself, and has to go to the bathroom, what is she supposed to do? Take her towel, backpack, drink, etc. to the bathroom? I don't think so. There is the problem.
  17. I just noticed the signature. How can someone who's cruised on NCL a dozen times, at least, post something so categorically false? Boggles the mind.
  18. There are over 20 different menus. No way to know what you're going to get. Beef is indeed becoming a rare entree. Cagney's items are available every night.
  19. Now? When wasn't it? {for the record, this issue is not cut and dried, and I take no stand one way or the other}
  20. From the link you posted: Guerrero state – Do Not Travel Do not travel due to crime. Crime and violence are widespread. Armed groups operate independently of the government in many areas of Guerrero. Members of these groups frequently maintain roadblocks and may use violence towards travelers. U.S. citizens and LPRs have been victims of kidnapping in previous years.
  21. It's monitored exactly as much as your delivered luggage is monitored as it sits in the hallway. Luggage theft is not a big thing on a cruise ship, as far as I know.
