Yeah it was a great deal. We were excited about it. Our daughter turns 6 that week and she’s so excited about her birthday cruise (she was talking about it all day today and I didn’t have the heart to tell her as I’m still hoping to work something out). Of course none of that is Royal Caribbean’s concern, and I wouldn’t expect it to be, but it’s real to me. And when RC has real options that could make this right and are too greedy to work with people, it leaves a terrible impression and makes me think hard about finding new options for this family’s next 15 years of twice-yearly great vacations. I guess RC is fine losing that future business so they don’t take a small hit today (of course they are-they’ll just fill those cabins with someone else-they definitely don’t care how I feel about them).

Right now nothing! Guess I am staying home and doing spring cleaning. I have always wanted to do that on my vacation. :) My daughter has the week off from work, no track meets, and a week of not so good relaxation because my girls will fight being at home.

 

Even going to the beach for a few days will cost me more money. It is high demand season and rooms are limited for that week.

 

I would just change to the other sailings but those time frames don't work for the summer. Between high school graduation, summer camp schedules and a trip to Europe it just won't be happening on the Empress of the Seas.

what about your flights?

It is a bunch of crap! I was on the 30th also. Can't find anything. Have 8 disappointed people and no cruise for spring break! Majesty has nothing available and was told nothing on Independence. Been on hold just to cancel all reservations and been on hold for over 2 hours now. Not too happy right now with the way they are treating us.

The rest of the "long" email was just trying to sell me more cruises. I feel at this point they should have some idea what should be offered.
