I live about an hour north of Miami. It is so easy now. You can just get an Uber from airport to port. It’s only 15-20 min. No reason to take a shuttle and wait on people. We park our car out by airport and Uber in many times. So so easy and cheap.

The funny thing is the menu is basically the same just can’t get the traditional same things everyday.

All boardwalk and Central Park balconies are the worst. An apartment complex at sea. Zero privacy. Not sure how people are ok getting on a mega ship that has few places to see the ocean and are ok with looking at neighbors across the way. Curtains have to be closed to get undressed, take shower and come out to change, naps, sex you name it. Get an ocean view balcony you will be able to enjoy the ocean naked or in PJs.

Both our fine but Allure is our favorite. Love the pool in solarium and love that it has not been amplified. I dislike the huge purple slide in boardwalk that all oasis class have except Allure.

We never leave our cabin before 9 am. We walk off anytime we want with our luggage.

We tend to leave late too. We sleep in and drive home usually by 9:30. We live in south Florida so close to all ports. By about 9:30 they are kicking you off. We get up at 9 and take our time.

Our least favorite is hooked. Frozen fish is not my thing. We live in south Florida and run a fishing charter. That’s fresh fish. We catch and eat that night. Hooked was terrible

We always walk off with our luggage anytime we want. So easy.

Yes it is more than accurate a week out. you do understand that when companies book a bank of rooms it is not specific rooms. Royal will have the rooms available too.

Oh my. Long wait. We don’t have a flight till 5:30. Was planning on buying Royal excursion for $13 that takes our luggage and drops us in old San Juan. Picks us up later and takes us to airport.

Just tap card on door pad. I will not use lanyards because it is a pain always taking it out to buy drinks and on and off ship.

Omg. Key is nothing. Not even close to private lesson. You have UDP that is awesome all you need. Save your money. I find zero benefit with key. We always wake up late on departure day and go to park cafe. We walk off ship around 9:40.

We have been on many carnival ships. We always have fun. Royal is definitely a step up. Carnival is like Walmart. You will see things that you really don’t want to see with guest. Oh it’s great people watching for sure. Shows are not near as good as royal. Would we go on carnival again? Sure. So many more food options on carnival, that’s one thing I love. It’s definitely a fun time. Royal is a little classier. Not as many drunks or people in bathing suits that are 9 times too small. Royal can be fun but carnival puts fun to another level. Their staff really makes great parties. I am sure people will tell me how wrong I am to talk about guest but it’s so true with Carnival. It can be like going to Walmart in the middle of the night. PJs and Curlers in hair, you name it you will see it on carnival.

We did it once on Allure. Was it good? Yes it was good not great. Actually got board at times. Lol. I would never pay more than $100 pp but whatever. The bridge was the best part, everything else didn’t really interest us. We did watch a video before on the whole process of these huge ships which is great. You can look up on Utube instead of taking tour. It’s very cool the process

Uber is super easy. A shuttle is crazy. Don’t bother. Having to pay more and waiting on others is crazy. Uber or lift is super easy

I looked at school calendar in Puerto Rico and all show they went back to school on the 9th. Not sure why the say the 17th. All area schools show the same.

I suggest don’t go for interior balconies unless you are ok having zero privacy. Not sure why people are ok living in an apartment at sea with all cabins looking at you. I go on a cruise to see the ocean. Everytime you change, take a nap, come out of shower and get dressed in cabin zero privacy. No way.

You must have not been out traveling if you have not noticed any change. Every restaurant we go to charge more for less Quality and quantity. Every hotel has less staff and charge more.

The quality has gone downhill in every business in America. Inflation has effected everything. You can even eat good at home without shelling out big money. What do you expect. It’s not just cruises or royal. Common sense
