Booking a cruise online then transfer to TA

We just did a transfer and they required us to fill out a form and send it back to Princess to transfer it to our TA. -
It was on the website a bit ago. I guess when CA changed to include the fees, Princess just decided to do it across the board. They made is sound like it was such a great idea! LOL

Oops, sorry...misread that. But I have actually heard a few folks say they didn't have to use tokens in the machine. I guess that's why I saw "free" not "fee".

But it does not go on your onboard folio. The charge is on your credit card.

BTW, the onboard credit for purchasing the future cruise deposit, is applied to the cruise that follows (not the one that you're on). And no matter what deposit they are asking for, your $100 deposit is sufficient.

My daughter does not eat meat, although she eats seafood and was able to enjoy dinner in the Crown Grill.

We have never seen free laundry.

Sometimes we book with EZair and sometimes we pay with miles depending on which is giving us the best deal. EZ air is a tool. If after comparing prices, EZ air is twice the price than don't do it that way. Keep shopping for a better fare.

Sure, we know we will not go hungry....LOL! But why Princess erased all our prior reservations and then made it impossible to book similar times for each night. We're on a 32 day sailing and it is very frustrating to not be able to get a private table every night. Thought I had all my ducks in a row in plenty of time....not! -
Not all ships have 3 dining rooms.

Not sure about that....I have heard that if you book with the Big Box store you are not eligible for an upgrade bid. Can any one confirm that?

Or go on longer cruises...like 25-32 days. Very few if any kids on those!

Are you referring to a Sanctuary mini that includes reserve dining or just a reserve mini?

Totally agree. The benefit should be allocated every 7 days in my opinion. After all we are paying the extra amount every day not just for a week. And no matter how you try to reason with corporate about this, they just refuse to do anything about it.

Nope, can change it ...it is what it is. We'll see what we can do once we are onboard. Still not sure why Princess did this...erase all our prior reservations to move to a new system? Why not just leave the option of switching to the passenger after providing the needed info as far as what dining times are in the various dining rooms. Just my 2 cents. -

I don't, but I have seen people do it especially during holidays (at Christmas/Easter/Halloween) I think many think of the cruise ship as their home away from home for a period of time so they may decorate as they do at home.

When I posted a magnet saying "We survived the Coral Princess covid cruise", I had several people come up to us and share that they also survived it. Even our cabin steward on one of our Alaska cruises also commented as he was on the same cruise. It's a conversation starter and a way to share experiences.
