  1. We were just on Beyond in cabin 11219. We didn’t notice any creaking.
  2. We have done it many times, but we won’t book it again. We think it’s way overpriced. On our last cruise, we booked Murano for 2 mights instead which was way less expensive.
  3. As an Elite+, you are entitled to 20% off specialty dining booked onboard. The Lawn Club was $50 per person and we were charged $25.00 per person, The waiter gave us the check and said he gave us a good deal. We were surprised.
  4. We booked Lawn Club grille when we were on Silhouette in November. We Are Elite+ and expected 20% off. When we got the check, they gave us 50% off.
  5. We feel the same way. We don’t book suites for the butler. We like the retreat, Luminae and the larger room.
  6. I don’t have low standards. I don’t need the butler. I wasn’t excited about ice. I was happy with the service provided. In the past when we had a butler, they would keep wanting to do things for us, We finally had the butler bring us coffee and tea in the morning because we felt obligated. I don’t drink or eat breakfast in the morning so it was a waste because I threw out the tea.
  7. We were in a sky suite on Silhouette in November. We had great service. If we wanted anything, there is a number to call. We are pretty laid back and don’t really need much. We didn’t want any food in the afternoon or breakfast in our room. We were supplied with water and soda every day and ice. We book suites for room size, Luminae and retreat lounge. We don’t need the butler.
  8. We have $1830 for our upcoming cruise. $1100 from cruise line and $730 from TA. We are booked in a sky suite.
  9. It’s an additional $60 per person for the wine pairing. We had premium drink package, so we didn’t do the pairing and just ordered wine using the package.
  10. I would like some of the crown and anchor benefits added to Captains club. On RCCL we would get 5 drinks a day to our seapass card. They also offer discounts for balcony cabins.
  11. Yes, we play blackjack and craps. They give you promotional chips to play with. They can’t be cashed in, but your winnings are provided in real chips that can be cashed in.
  12. We have it booked for our cruise on Edge 1/23 cruise. We are in Aruba for an overnight. So I assume it will be on that night. Menu looks delicious.
  13. Noon is just a placeholder. You don’t get to pick the day or time. It is scheduled for you. You will get an invite in your room with the day, time and where to meet. They used to make the placeholder for 6:00 pm on day one and it would prevent you from booking a restaurant on day one. That happened to us before.
  14. I can’t really blame Celebrity for this change. We were on Equinox for 19 days in October and went to Oceanview one evening. It was practically empty. Definitely not worth all the food that was out. So much waste.
  15. We liked to play Blackjack and craps in the casino, so, we get the promotional chips and hopefully convert them to real chips if we win. Those can then be cashed out.
  16. You can use OBC that Celebrity provides pre-cruise. When you purchase something in the planner, you have to indicate you want to OBC for the purchase. OBC from a TA won’t be on your account until after boarding.
  17. We have booked Aqua Class many times on Equinox. We like the overhang on the balcony. We book near the aft elevators. Never had a problem with noise.
  18. We have an 11 night on Beyond booked for 4/1/24 in an S1 for $378 a night with $1830 in OBC. $730 of OBC is refundable. I don’t know what the suites are going for now.
  19. I just watched a video on you tube. The Aqua Class sky suites on Beyond do have a tub.
