Indeed! We’ve seen TLOTR movies dozens of times. My granddaughter wanted me to be Lady Arwen, her favourite character.

A mini suite Reserve Class is not the same as a Retreat Sky Suite on X. Not really comparable to Aqua class either because with X you get your own private restaurant with their own galley. The Princess mini suite Reserve is not a suite. Princess does a disservice to their clients who think they’re getting a full suite. You will not receive any suite benefits as you would in a real suite. The good news is that you will get a private portion of the MDR with the same menu and an added special course. You do not need a reservation and because the dining area is smaller you can expect a higher level of service. If you are comparing Reserve Class dining on Princess with Luminae, the Retreat restaurant you will be very disappointed. It is a night and day experience. Please do some research before booking. Smoking is allowed in the casino, unlike Celebrity, if that’s an issue for you. Entertainment is about the same, probably more varied on Princess. No Martini Bar! No Eden! No Solarium! Princess does have The International Cafe open 24 hours for coffee, snacks and sandwiches. It’s terrific. We love Celebrity, but we do enjoy some of Princess’s unique itineraries, so Princess and HAL are our next go to lines. I won’t advise you one way or another, but you really need to do your homework to do a full and accurate comparison. You should also post this on the Celebrity boards. Princess cruisers are very loyal to the brand.

We much prefer to just sit at a bar or lounge for cocktails or a glass of wine.

Tried at 8:00 am this morning and it’s back to normal for me.

We’ve been getting emails from Princess for years offering free interior and occasionally balcony cabins on select sailings. We also get the same emails from Celebrity but always for balconies or higher. With HAL we get a casino rate on all cruises we choose with an approximate discount of 30%. We are not huge gamblers, but we do spend considerable time in the casino. Funny though, we haven’t been in a Princess casino in quite some time because of the smoking, and they still offer free cruises and we always get casino OBC wth every booking we make. We’re so used to getting up and out with the dogs. Our own 2 and often 1or2 fosters. They want their breakfast before 7 and they must be walked before that happens. So, no sleeping in for us even on a cruise. I crash at 11 pm!

We love breakfast in the MDR. She much nicer than the chaotic buffet. Quiet, peaceful and very good food, too. The hours are limited so be sure to check that out. We’re early risers, so not an issue for us.

Thanks for taking the time to try to get some understanding of what’s going on with Princess online. Thankfully, I’m not looking to book at this time and my current bookings are secure. Must be hugely frustrating for those wanting to get prices and book. Big mistake by Princess!

Exactly, I can log in, choose an itinerary and date and ship, and pick a cabin and then the error message appears.

Someone else started a thread a few hours ago. Yes, many people having the same problem and it’s still continuing.

This has been happening to us for 3 days now. So frustrating! I refuse to call them. I don’t want to book yet, just perusing prices.

Are you telling us that passengers are smoking on their balconies without issue? Why are they not being reported by their neighbours? This is very disturbing information. We will not tolerate balcony smoking!

This exact thing happened to us with an LHR connection and we were also on BA flights. Last passengers on the plane, but we made it by a hair. I don’t ever want to do that again. Flight attendant handed us a bottle of water each before we even got to our seats! She knew we ran all the way to the gate!

We like Rome in Limo. Very professional, clean cars and reasonable rates. Waits for you with a sign just outside the terminal. I would never take a taxi to FCO. Be sure to give yourself plenty of time before your flight. Very busy airport and lines are long. For us we need at least three hours before our flight to feel comfortable.

I was thinking exactly the same thing. Years ago I tried to pay by credit card and was emphatically told it was not possible. It was in the spa and I was wanting to buy some products on my personal cc and not the ship account.
