  7. Original post second paragraph. “ Included in the Princess Premier Package”. I’m finding it difficult to get all worked up about Pitbull’s vodka! Grey Goose suffices for me. It will be tough to beat Whispering Angel, too!
  8. We have the Premier package for our August sailing, so I guess we could try one of these. Honestly, it doesn’t really excite me all that much.

  10. Not the same at all. ONE is a third party who try to entice folks to purchase promos, hotel rooms and OBC. Similar to time share. CVPs are people who work directly for Princess to book cruises, flights, excursions, etc. Most CVPs live in the US and cruise frequently. Unfortunately, we’re unable to give out names because cruise critic does not allow this. The main phone number is 1-800-901-1172. Call them and ask to be assigned to a CVP. We’ve had the same lady for years and she is a total gem. Never have to speak to the call centre located outside of the US.
  11. I know! People are worried because of the “obstructed” aspect. Not a problem for us! L101 and 102 have balconies even wider than the cabin because of the fire equipment closet between them. You could have 20 people out there!
  12. Three in one cabin? Kudos to you! We find it’s too tight for the two of us, but that’s just us.
  13. You can certainly ask, but don’t count on it. Some members have asked and were told that it is not possible. There really isn’t any room for another chair in those cabins.
  14. All deluxe balconies, obstructed and not obstructed, have loveseats, not just premium. We like Lido deck far forward deluxe obstructed balconies and they have loveseats. Cabins L101 and L102 are our favs with huge balconies.
  15. Deluxe balconies have a loveseat and small coffee table and standard balconies only have one desk chair. I would never book a standard balcony.
  16. You really can wear what you want, You like dressing up? Go for it! You like business casual? That works, too! You prefer country club casual, no tie no jacket? You’re in! There is no longer a dress code enforced, so as long as you don’t try shorts and flip flops, although some of our members did that too, you will be just fine, Enjoy your cruise!
  17. My money would be on one of the M class ships. Had some issues myself at one time. Since we now only sail on E class, we’ve had absolutely no issues whatsoever.
  18. Since you are already so resentful, I’m concerned that it will affect your total enjoyment of your cruise. I would try to calm down and relax. Please try the app again.
  19. Why don’t you try using the app again. Follow right to the end. You may see the payment requirement just fall off before entering your credit card #.
  20. We’re re Elite+ with Celebrity and I know that they also have issues with some things. No cruiseline is perfect, even the luxury lines have problems.
  21. I know it seems that way, but since most people use the app successfully, such as myself, and others requested OBC because they wanted tu use it onboard or requested a refund to their cc. Princess does not force OBC on anyone. I would not be looking for conspiracy theories.
  22. We are also sailing on Enchanted with the Premier package. Booked two specialty restaurants and the app acknowledged that the reservations were included in the package and I was not prompted to pay. Apparently, it does not work for everyone and we don’t know why. It’s a known glitch in the app and Princess seems unable to fix it. However, most people have reported that once onboard the could make the reservations with no charge or pre-pay on the app prior to sailing. Most people have received the payment back as OBC or chose a refund to their credit card. Personally, I would pre-pay and make the reservations. The call centre is definitely an issue. I have a Princess Cruise Vacation Planner, who takes care of everything for me, and I’ve never had to call the general reservations line. A good travel agent can also get things done on your behalf. No charge for either a TA or CVP. I suggest you avail yourself of their services. Refunds are generally processed in a couple of weeks, not months.
