Thank you. The one we’ve stayed at in Portland Maine were heavy snacks so we didn’t need dinner. Was hoping that would be the case....take the sting out of the price of the hotel 😁

Can someone tell me what to expect for the evening reception, what type of snacks to expect? Are the drinks limited?

Must be St Maarten. The US Virgin Islands tries to conserve the beaches by not allowing people to take sand or shells from the beaches (though many people do, unfortunately). Take only photos; leave only footprints when in the Virgin Islands.
Good point!

We actually found a shop a few years ago but cannot remember where! We think it was either St Thomas or St Maarten, the shop was pretty close to the beach.
The sand was actually from Caribbean beaches.

Another vote for Silver Moon in Barbados, we've gone with them twice, and by far the best excursion we've been on!

Just a note for the wines lovers, we didn't discover this until the second cruise on the Silhouette, there is a HUGE wine storage (can't think what it is called) on the 3rd deck dining room. We went to take a peek when the dining room was closed and were lucky enough to be given a quick tour of it.

We'll be cruising Feb 11th with several children in the 9 year old range. Does anyone have an experience with the kids club when it's not "peak children sailing time"?

We just got off Celebrity Silhouette a few days ago and have realized we did not get the statement that is usually delivered to your door on the final night. We may or may not owe $$ as we had a lot of OBC, has anyone ever not gotten the statement?

Last year we had paid gratuities, Classic Beverage Package, not big drinkers but we did have a "few" each day :)! We also had a whopping $500.00 on board credit! We are not gamblers, or spa users, so upon being out to sea, went to the onboard Apple Store a got a "free iPad" which I'm using right now[emoji3][emoji3]❤️. Love it! We think it was a great use of a perk!
Last year we had a similar package except $600 OBC, we also got the iPad and love it as well! Assuming you are from Maine, whereabouts?

I'm interested in the swim up bar, was it overly crowded? I picture it hard to get up to the bar.

Our friends had theirs taken last year when boarding Anthem of the Seas, it was the kind that had the foil cutter as well.

You'll be fine, I'm a bit shorter and heavier than you and had no problems. The only disappointment we had is the RCI photographer wasn't there taking pictures.

We had $600 OBC plus beverage package and prepaid tips as perks for a recent sailing. We bought an Apple iPad Air from the computer place onboard :)

We bought straps in bright colors with our names embroidered on them in BIG letters. Knock on wood, no problem with our luggage being taken accidently.

One of my all times favs was on Silhouette at the martini bar. Banana split martini. It went down really smoth :D

I know you have to take reviews with a grain of salt. But I did read where the old city hall building is across the street (it is vacant) and that a lot of homeless and druggies attracted to the area. That with the comment of not walking around at night made me cancel.

I don't know the hotel other than driving by it but the area is excellent. Every time I drive by it there are always guests around the pool having a good time.
I was under the impression it was more of a longer stay motel than a one or two night stay resort.
Anyway, I wouldn't hesitate to stay there. If you do, please report back and let us know how it was!
Thank you!! I understand it used to be strictly a gay resort, but that has changed now. We have it booked for post cruise for 3 nights. I think I'll keep this one. lol. I have booked and cancelled 3 hotels so far. I think you may have commented on one of the ones that I cancelled.

717 Breakers Ave. Is this a good location? I see it is ranked #27 out of 137 hotels in Ft Lauderdale by Trip Advisor.
Need help, making dining reservation on line
in Celebrity Cruises
Posted
We have select dining and I’m trying to make reservations for specific times. We have 4 cabins I’m trying to reserve for. The system will let me add one of them but for the other 2 reservations it says “these reservations may not be combined to create a single reservation. Make separate reservations for each party”.
I’ve done this in the past no problem. These reservations are also linked together.
Any thoughts on how to do this? I called my t/a yesterday, no help there.
