  1. The coffee card is a punch type card. Anybody can use it. You can use as many per day as you wish until they are all gone.
  2. Just pick a later time. That will keep you from taking an early time that someone who is actually boarding will want.
  3. I looked at several transatlantic cruises today and every sea day said International Date Line. Their IT screw ups never cease to amaze me.
  4. I have never known the plug to trip from a hair tool.
  5. There will be 2 US plugs and 1 European in the cabin.
  6. Do online check in for both cruises and get a set sail pass for both of them.
  7. Elevator and stair where crew brings up cleaning carts etc.
  8. Travel agent OBC won't necessarily hit your account the first day.
  9. Nothing in it is inappropriate for children, but neither will it likely hold much interest to them. Approach it as an interestingly staged production in an unusual venue. Don't go looking for a story.
  10. The lowest category you would get is the guarantee category you booked. I have booked a D and gotten a B once.
  11. There is shopping at the port right where you come off of the ship.
  12. I too had a very different experience on this transatlantic. I only put on 3 pounds! I made new friends, played a lot of trivia, found the hot croissants in the WJ, and just had a darn good time. This cruise was the most fun I have had in a lot of cruises. The food, to me, was the best I have had on a ship in years. No, it wasn't always the best food I have ever eaten, but I never went hungry.
  13. I have had them delayed when flights were booked with Air2Sea.
  14. Sounds good to me, especially on a new ship that will be packed to the gills with people. I love being on the ship on a port day when it's places I have been to a lot.
  15. I did it and had a cruise that was on the cool side both on ship and in ports. Friends were on a different ship a few days behind mine and their trip was warmer for many of the same ports.
  16. It is probably repricing to the current rate. It doesn't add a 2nd person as a 3rd. If you book 2 and go solo, I am reading lately that you do not get double points with a no show passenger listed like you used to get.
  17. Last week I had selected the latest departure time which was 8:30 - 9:00 and was getting messages on my app at 7:50 that they had called my number.
  18. On 2 cruises from Galveston this spring and summer, I have seen people who had full size luggage with them while we were waiting for the cabins to open. I did not see them go through the scanners, but I did see people with regular checked bag size in tow prior to cabins being open and luggage being available.
  19. If you can't get in when you first arrive, it hopefully won't be too long before you can at least go in and sit down. Those in balcony cabin may not be able to wait in the suite and pinnacle area. There are seating areas though by the time I have gotten there they were roped off and people were boarding.
  20. You will certainly get better (and more expensive) seafood in Juneau. I would not miss out on something I wanted to do in port in order to eat dinner on the ship.
  21. It's edible/decent but not fabulous IMO. I recently heard someone talking about how fabulous they were. Her standards for good shrimp were obviously different from mine.
  22. I have met one person who had it who said she would never cruise without it again. I heard her telling multiple that during the cruise. It seemed to make her feel very important.
  23. Unless you are on a tender heavy itinerary - which you are not - I feel it is a lot of money to pay for not a lot of benefit.
  24. Here is a video by a professional vlogger about his recent transatlantic crossing experience.
  25. I had paper compass a few weeks ago and the information in the compass is in the app in the daily calendar.
