  1. We always pack a plastic bag in our bags, last year in Barbados the heavens opened, we just put our stuff in the plastic bag to keep it dry on our loungers and headed into the sea, the rain was warm and the water was warm, the rain passed within 30 minutes, one of our best beach days.

  2. We done a cruise from Barcelona a few years ago, I do wish we had booked a night or two pre-cruise, as we flew in From Edinburgh and our flight was delayed, along with quite a few other passengers, they were waiting on us all arriving, everyone was at their muster stations for the safety drill while we were still trying to get through check in ! so that was stressful, def think about flying in a day or 2 before, we were originally going to jump in a taxi but because our flight was late with a lot of passengers, RCL had a bus waiting and they were shouting at everyone to get on, people were actually running with their cases to get on the bus, so I would def want to avoid that happening again lol

Going home , ship docked around 6am ish we were off about 8:30am and our flight home was 1:30 and we just wanted to go home, not stay any longer, and it's not a long flight, so we sat it out at the airport.

I think I would maybe do a land holiday if I wanted to see Barcelona, there is such a lot to see, I don't think you could do it all in a few days

    Hope this helps a little

  3. We used to bring gowns and kilts for the men but...travelling from the UK, the baggage allowance has dropped a lot, and the fees are sky high so now we just use the Windjammer or somewhere else.

But...I must add, what someone wears does not impact the enjoyment of my meal, it will still taste the same and look the same regardless of what people are wearing, for those that enjoy dressing up, that's great, but it's also great for those that don't want to....it's all about harmony and getting along with each other

  4. I remember my first visit to Labadee, my daughter was 7 and we strolled through the market (the old market) before all the huts were built, a vendor asked my daughter her name and within 2 minutes he had carved it into a wooden box and demanded payment for it, he was quite pushy and my daughter started getting scared, we just walked right out of there and never went back to the market again...….we have visited Labadee around 10 times now but just avoid the market all together...….Love Labadee

  5. I don't know where they would pick up and drop off, but Edinburgh is my home town and I just want to say......You will LOVE it, but do make sure you are there before last pick up as we have terrible rush hours and it's quite a way to the port.

The Royal Mile is great, you have Holyrood Palace, Dynamic Earth, Arthurs seat and the Parliament buildings at the bottom, and walk the mile to the top and you have Edinburgh Castle.

    Enjoy whatever you do
