What difference does the gender of your room steward make
-
How has this thread now become all about Bottom Burps lol

I always carry mine in my organiser and a little extra in the original boxes/bottles etc, (extra) in case of delays... more for the airline and customs than anything else, never had a problem with the ship though

We always pack a plastic bag in our bags, last year in Barbados the heavens opened, we just put our stuff in the plastic bag to keep it dry on our loungers and headed into the sea, the rain was warm and the water was warm, the rain passed within 30 minutes, one of our best beach days.

We done a cruise from Barcelona a few years ago, I do wish we had booked a night or two pre-cruise, as we flew in From Edinburgh and our flight was delayed, along with quite a few other passengers, they were waiting on us all arriving, everyone was at their muster stations for the safety drill while we were still trying to get through check in ! so that was stressful, def think about flying in a day or 2 before, we were originally going to jump in a taxi but because our flight was late with a lot of passengers, RCL had a bus waiting and they were shouting at everyone to get on, people were actually running with their cases to get on the bus, so I would def want to avoid that happening again lol
Going home , ship docked around 6am ish we were off about 8:30am and our flight home was 1:30 and we just wanted to go home, not stay any longer, and it's not a long flight, so we sat it out at the airport.
I think I would maybe do a land holiday if I wanted to see Barcelona, there is such a lot to see, I don't think you could do it all in a few days
Hope this helps a little

We used to bring gowns and kilts for the men but...travelling from the UK, the baggage allowance has dropped a lot, and the fees are sky high so now we just use the Windjammer or somewhere else.
But...I must add, what someone wears does not impact the enjoyment of my meal, it will still taste the same and look the same regardless of what people are wearing, for those that enjoy dressing up, that's great, but it's also great for those that don't want to....it's all about harmony and getting along with each other

Absolutely loving your review, Edinburgh is my home town and your pictures have done us proud, they are amazing, Unfortunately I didn't have time to meet up with Sherri and Mike (this time) but I'm sure they will come here again...…..you don't visit Edinburgh just once right lol...
Looking forward to the rest of your review

would be calling RCI and asking their advice

If you have to pay anything then it's an ''upsell'' not an upgrade, that should be free in my opinion

Imagine being on the bottom tier with someone's legs draped over you and they are seasick...…...ugh, I hope I never ever have to find out

I'm sure most kids hear and see a lot worse at school/college that their parents don't know about

Fantastic pictures......I hope you went to see the headliner act Travis LeDoyt, the young Elvis entertainer, he is amazing, my friend is married to his manager and is on this cruise also, there have been some beautiful pictures, Never done Alaska but I'm thinking about it now

I thought you had to be 21 to drink on a US cruise and 18 on a med cruise, there are also curfews but I can't remember the age group it covers.....I'm sure someone will be along with an answer soon

They can show their seapass card and get a regular drink at any bar

I remember my first visit to Labadee, my daughter was 7 and we strolled through the market (the old market) before all the huts were built, a vendor asked my daughter her name and within 2 minutes he had carved it into a wooden box and demanded payment for it, he was quite pushy and my daughter started getting scared, we just walked right out of there and never went back to the market again...….we have visited Labadee around 10 times now but just avoid the market all together...….Love Labadee

That poor animal, I think this is more about showing off and attention grabbing than ANY medical issue, I feel sorry for the poor dog.

Isn't it sad that you can lay your life on the line for your country, but you can't book a cabin on a vacation

and I imagine gratuity of 18% would be added per shot

The machines are not always broken......you can get your drinks from any bar by showing your seapass

Me either, we fly from UK and twice had an Eastern changed to a Western, we have also twice been rerouted to the A,B,C'S ..Aruba, Bonnaire and Cracao, those turned out to be our best cruises ever, only you can decide, but make sure you have insurance

Yes, Leith pier is Newhaven, right next to the Royal Yacht Brittania

I don't know where they would pick up and drop off, but Edinburgh is my home town and I just want to say......You will LOVE it, but do make sure you are there before last pick up as we have terrible rush hours and it's quite a way to the port.
The Royal Mile is great, you have Holyrood Palace, Dynamic Earth, Arthurs seat and the Parliament buildings at the bottom, and walk the mile to the top and you have Edinburgh Castle.
Enjoy whatever you do

Regardless of people saying you won't need it, I would take it ''just in case'', imagine not being able to board because you didn't have it
