thanks, I have an issue with "ballroom dancing" at dinner time. that's what has been on my last 2 cruises. gone are the day's of wonderful ball room, nice music, songs we knew with words we understood. showing my age I guess.

??? is there any Ballroom dancing? is the Ocean bar floor covered with carpet so no dance floor.?

no plastic anything anymore, paper straws are it and you have to ask for one. my last 2 cruises have had canned water, like a soda can or a screw on cap can. At least I didn't spill that. I got it at coffee bar.

was there a mariners lunch? my last 2 cruises there was not one. just wondering? looking forward to following you.

I've enjoyed your posts, I will be boarding next Sunday, packing tomorrow. I read recently there could be a Sunday brunch on Sunday sea days. I always enjoy them. I will for sure try the beet smoothie, I do like beets.

enjoying following this blog. Is there really GALA nights? last 2 HAL ships I was on only had "dressy" night. needless to say not the level of Gala. I'm with you I like the dressing up part of cruising. but dress up re do works also. a re wear beats jeans and t-shirt!

I did in July, I was off ship around 8, and on HAL bus to airport by 8:20 much to my surprise I got my 9:20 local shuttle, I planned to be on the 10:20 really it depends on traffic and which way the driver goes. I will be doing this again on Sept. 10th, it is along walk from bus drop off to anything, I suggest you use the free baggage drop off for your flight. wondering what sight's you plan to see.

I just got off the ship, there is no DVD anything in room. the tv does lot's of things if you figure out all the buttons up and down and back and forth, I much prefer numbers to push. instead of going thru the long routine. but that's me, I don't have a smart phone either. c u onboard
