Cool Cruiser (2/15)

  1. Thanks for this helpful information.
  2. Strange I went to manage my booking in appt and it says reservation number I typed is locked.
  3. Thank you. Where do I find cruise docs? I am on app.
  4. Our cruise is in less than a month. The app says must bring the original travel documents to the port. What are they talking about? The express pass? We have printed out the express pas. We still do not see luggage tags.
  5. Our first two on Celebrity were on Zenith, followed by few cruises on Summit and Infinity. Haven’t cruised on Celebrity for over 10 years. A little concerned with one coming up on Silhouette in little less than 6 weeks as so much has changed with Celebrity since our last one with them.
  6. It is salmon rillettes, much like French pork rillettes. Here is a simple recipe using salmon. https://www.bonappetit.com/recipe/salmon-rillettes-2
  7. I leisurely went in to check in sometime in the afternoon and it automatically selected 11:30 AM for us on our cruise out of Amsterdam. Did not realize this was the earliest check in time.
  8. I think what is happening to you on this cruise is awful.
  9. Good idea. I remember on my very first cruise in 1990 I ordered smoked sturgeon fish with capers, minced onion, etc for breakfast and other 6 table mates asked β€œwow, you eat fish for breakfast?” I was thrilled they had fish for breakfast (from Tokyo). In those days most did not eat any fish let alone at breakfast.
  10. That is terrible how they handle delivered bags. It this SOP for Celebrity now? Until I read this it never occurred for me to look for bags in other areas if ours go missing. I never experienced missing bags in the past. that lobster roll is more like thick sandwich roll with minimal filling. Looks awful.
  11. Mmmm, that grilled barramundi over roasted fennels, mussels with black olive salsa look divine. I have to copy that idea.
  12. Actually the price is very, very reasonable compared to our area. And 10-15% tip seems so reasonable much like what the tip rate here 20 years ago.
  13. I think you are right on this or they were give lounge vouchers through their credit card.
