FYI - you can use google maps WITHOUT internet by downloading maps in advance. Is your phone getting a GPS signal?

Met our cabin attendant within 10 minutes of entering room. And saw them often.

Most cruiselines will add a service charge when you get cash and charge to your room. This is mostlyk to cover the charge to them from the credit card company. If you are a "regular" gambler, they often will waive that fee. They do not want the cashier to be an ATM service.

Yes, some will ONLY book ship sponsored tours. I get that. But, if you book on your own with plans to be back 2 hours before "all aboard", that leaves you plenty of time to deal with traffic. And as said, often it is the same traffic as the ship tours. We prefer on our own for many reasons. Smaller groups - 2-12 is the norm for us. Less waiting for others. More flexibility, especially if nobody else is with you. And the cost is the same or less.

My response was for a regular cabin. (did not notice the suite notation) Swing out TV's may be able to get access. Also, depending on what hookup they use for the TV, you might be able to sway YOUR hdmi device for whatever they are using, which means you would not have to change the source/input.

It was very difficult to actually plug hdmi into back of tv as they sit very tight to the wall. I rigged up something with tape and plastic knife to guide the HDMI cable into place. but, as said above, you can not change the source. I monkeyed around with it quite a bit. We do not do streaming, but always bring an Ipad with lots of movies, etc. But, no luck on Virgin.

I guess I am lucky. My handful of calls were all answered rather quickly and they dealt with my questions including room change quickly. HINT - have the ship layout in front of you so you can SEE the cabin number they give you.

I guess I am too old, as I have no idea if the pizza is good or bad based on the comment above.
