    Cool Cruiser
  1. Does anyone have an update from Viking Star concerning Noro on the cruise that ended on Thursday or the current cruise? Have there been additional cases after the initial problem two weeks ago? Would greatly appreciate hearing how things are on board currently. Thanks for any reports from those on board.
  2. We are also booked on the February 28 Transatlantic and would greatly appreciate updates from those currently on board. Thanks to all for keeping us posted.
  3. Just wondering if anyone has information about possible groups on Oosterdam’s Transatlantic in October. Both categories of suites already show sold out. Thanks for help.
  4. Is there any information about groups on Oosterdam’s October 27 Transatlantic? We managed to reserve one of the last Signature Suites. Neptune suites are showing sold out. It seems early to have all suites sold out and only limited availability in other categories. Any information would be greatly appreciated. Thanks to everyone who helps with this thread.
  5. We were also very disappointed with the "new" Crow's Nest on Westerdam. The library is not what we are accustomed to enjoying on board. Basically, it is now just a few rather uninteresting and ill chosen books that are only to be read there and not removed from that area.
  6. We are considering booking on Prinsendam for the October 2018 Transatlantic in SS 061. Comments or advice would be greatly appreciated. The concern is this room may be too far aft and we may experience vibration. All the other available Signature Suites are forward under the pool deck. Thanks in advance for any comments.
  7. Thanks to everyone for your responses. We are booked on Explorer's March 21st Transatlantic and looking forward to enjoying Regent.
  8. Does anyone know if Montaudon is still the included champagne?
  9. We also find the food on board to be salty and always request no additional salt or pepper. It is quite interesting how perspective can vary but it is hard to imagine the food as being called bland. Perhaps in terms of spiciness but not in terms of salt and pepper.
  10. So glad to hear the MDR was open for lunch each day on your recent cruise on Symphony. For us, enjoying the wonderful service, lovely table linens, and refined ambiance of the MDR at lunch is always one of the highlights of being on board Crystal. We look forward to lunches in the MDR on our upcoming Symphony back to back, Rome-Lisbon-Miami. Thanks for sharing this information.
  11. Andy, Thanks for your response. Ibis
  12. Yes, thanks so much for the link. I did see the legacy site lists Remi.
  13. Hello Andy, Thanks for your reply. Yes, I am asking about 6226 and 6227. I have been checking on the new Crystal web site. You would think it would be more up to date than the legacy web site. :) Thanks for your help.
  14. Crystal currently shows the maitre d' for Symphony Rome to Lisbon/Lisbon to Miami as TBA, whereas, I believe several months ago it showed Remi as Maitre d'. Does anyone know, has there been a change?
