Cool Cruiser (2/15)

  1. We are scheduled to depart on a B2B March 4th. Trip is paid for in full. 2 nights in specialty restaurants and 1 shore excursion paid for in full. Water for room ordered and paid for in full. My wife has just been diagnosed with a heart condition that is going to require surgery. We are in the early stages of consults to ascertain what type of surgery will be required, and what we might be looking at for recouping and post surgical therapy time. Hopefully procedure can take place between now and end of year, whereby allowing time for recovery sufficient enough to allow for safe traveling. Have not purchased any trip insurance through Carnival but do have a policy through Allianz. Wondering if the time comes that we do need to cancel where do we start and what is the process? How is Carnival to deal with regarding canceling? Any input is greatly appreciated.
  2. Wondering what approximate arrival time for Carnival Mardi Gras at port Canaveral on turnaround day?
  3. I know you are allowed 12 cans of soda per person per cruise. We are doing a B2B, will we be allowed to bring additional soda and have it checked to be delivered to our cabin for the second week? As we are not drinkers am having H2o delivered to room, but we do like to have a soda with our lunch & dinner or take ashore for a beach day. Don't see the value In the soda package for 4 sodas a day. Any thoughts?
  4. On port days do you need to have your passport to leave and return to the ship. If so can you take a paper copy instead? Or have a picture of it on your phone?
  5. Am cruising Carnival Mardi Gras March of 2023. Are curling Irons allowed on board? If so what restrictions and guidelines if any are in place regarding the use of curling irons on board? Thanks for any and all feedback
  6. Is a copy of funtimes delivered to the cabin daily on the Mardi Gras? If not where can it be found?
  7. Are there any behind the scene ship tours available on Mardi Gras? Thought I saw a video somewhere of a tour of the engine room. Thanks for any information.
