The Captain Zodiac tour was one of the best excursions we did in the Islands. I'll admit that I was nervous about getting out of the water and back into the boat after snorkeling, but it was a breeze. They let down a ladder and provide assistance, if needed. The most important thing to remember is to follow their instructions!

A much younger and trimmer woman than I am didn't do it the way they were telling her and ended up head first, rear-end up, draped over the side of the boat.

Swing your leg over the edge as instructed and it's surprisingly easy and not at all embarrassing.:)

We loved our POA cruise last year! Next year we are going back to the Big Island for a land vacation, splitting our time between Hilo and Wiakoloa. Taking the cruise really helped us see which islands we preferred to spend more time on (Maui and Kauai were also wonderful... future trips).
