Good morning. Thanks for the Fleet Report/Daily @kazu and @richwmn; and @rafinmd for the maps. I vaguely recall Adlai Stevenson. Please, no disasters today. I like chocolate fondue although I haven't had it in a long time. Funny quote. I know of hot-pot but have never had or made it. Pass on the drink and yes to the cab sav. I was in Montreal long ago (land trip) for Expo 67! Another sunny day (unusual here), but not quite as warm. It will be in the upper 40's, not in the 50's like yesterday. I didn't sleep well last night. And I don't know if it's the increased activity of trying to clean out the DR, but I have had terrible leg pain/numbness this morning. And there's still lots to do. Today is the 14 Anniversary of what they call snowmagedden here; 21.5" of snow on the date in 2010. I remember calling the emergency number to try to get to work (healthcare) and no one ever came. @RMLincoln I think I was 12 also when I went to Montreal. Good morning. Thanks for the FR/Daily. Not a fan of the days. I have two FB accounts - one just for games I play, and the other to keep up with friends, although I rarely post anything any more. Interesting quote. The meal sounds ok. Pass on the drink and wine. I haven't been to Alesund. It's another sunny day with a high of 51F expected. I will be inside, trying to clear out the dining room for the floor renovation. I don't know where I'll put everything that's in there. Good evening. I'm beat. BFF and I worked on the foyer and living room, and got most things boxed, then put it the music room (my hangout), or upstairs, down in the basement or out in the garage. I worry about him as he has some health issues too. I wanted us to take breaks. The hard room, the dining room, is left. I'll work on a bit tonight, then tomorrow. I'm sure I'll be sore after all the bending. @marshhawk Obviously the word is out among the cats about where they can get a meal. So good of you. I haven't been to Puget Sound. 2 good days, and 1 sad day with the plane crash and loss of life. I was too young to know about Buddy Holly, but have certainly heard about him and the others. @kazu and @rafinmd thanks for our start and maps. It's going to be nice out. It's cloudy now and 34F, but is supposed to be sunny and 45F this afternoon. It's been cloudy for so long! I got about 4 hours of sleep, in segments. BFF is supposed to come over around noon to help me pack up and move some stuff. There is so much, I'm overwhelmed! And I'm sad that after feeling much less pain on Tuesday, it's come back with a vengeance, just when I need to do stuff. Sigh. @StLouisCruisers Oh my about the coyote sighting in DD's neighborhood. There seem to be more sightings as development encroaches on the woods. @kazu Good to hear you're not getting the worst of the weather. Nonetheless, be safe! @superoma Thanks for the recipes. I use the daring gourmet website for a lot of German recipes, like maultaschen, goulash, etc. @0106 I hope you're able to get out of your cabins soon and enjoy the ship. @ger_77 I'm sorry DH had gotten to the point of pulmonary edema; that's serious! The stronger diuretic should help, but they need to come up with a more permanent solution. Clouds are back today, after a glimpse of sun yesterday, with a high of 44F. All is about the same with me. Good morning. Thanks for the FR/Daily. Rabbit, rabbit, white rabbit. I've made candy, but not today. Car insurance is a must. I should change some passwords. I disagree with the quote; that's plagerism. I like the meal, pass on the drink and wine (only due to cost). I have been through Gatun Lake, but we didn't stop there as we were going straight through. Sadly I've never had Panama rolls. 3 good days in history. It's cloudy and the high will be 47F. I had a nice dinner out with BFF yesterday. The contractor stopped by and they got insurance approval for the POD storage and labor to move 3 rooms of furniture (the foyer doesn't have much). So lots of work for me to get the breakables out of the way. BFF will come over one day this weekend, although he's still working on cleaning out his late DF's house. I got 4.5 hours of sleep last night, aided by Benadry taken as premedication for my RA shot last night. @StLouisCruisers Thanks for the photos from you and posting Lenda's too. @Nickelpenny I hope the visit to the pain doctor is helpful. @kazu I'm glad the furniture got delivered, but it's sad the volunteers didn't do it. Good morning. Thanks for the Fleet Report/Daily @kazu and @richwmn. I appreciate my SS check that I worked for. I've never had a Brandy Alexander, although it sounds good, nor worn a gorilla suit. Not many cloverleafs here. Pass on the meal, drink and wine. I haven't been to Belfast. 3 good days in history. The sun is actually shining today! I think we're going into the mid-40's F. Yesterday I had less pain, and that felt amazing. I even did some extra stuff at PT, including getting on the bike. But sleep last night was about the same, and the pain seems almost back to the usual level. The contractor called and wants to come by later. They want to take the 3 rooms of furniture and put it in a pod, so they can do all the floors at once, then bring the furniture back in the next day. I guess I'll need to empty the china cabinet, which is a big job. Good afternoon. Thanks for the Fleet Report/Daily. I like croissants, can't draw, and would like an escape to somewhere where the sun is shining. Excellent quote. I like the meal, pass on the drink and wine. I haven't been to Airlie Beach. It's a good thing Jefferson had those books. Another cloudy day, but dry at least. We'll make it into the low 40's F. Sleep was about 3 hours. I had to go for an appointment this AM. Luckily the part of the parkway called the bathtub had not flooded due to pumps installed, so I didn't have to detour. The rivers are starting to recede. I'm having a quick late breakfast, and then I have PT this afternoon. And just to complete my day, I woke up with a flare in my right eye, so sunglasses are on and I'm putting in drops hourly. But it's been 4 months since the last flare, the longest I've ever gone, so the RA injection (which is supposed to help both things) may finally be doing something after 2 years. @summer slope Bon Voyage Dixie & George! @Sharon in AZ Bon Voyage Sharon & Craig! @Quartzsite Cruiser Bon Voyage Lenda & Steve! @dfish Bon Voyage Debbie & Sue! @StLouisCruisers I hope your shoulder continues to improve.
