To anyone who has cruised recently out of LA- I will be leaving on Monday 2/20 for a 5 day Cabo San Lucas cruise on the Discovery. We are Platinum level. I was never offered to choose a time to embark. Princess keeps sending me my Booking summary (3 times now) with a message saying we must board by deck, and our time is the second to last time: 1:30pm for the Baja Deck. My question is- Will this be strictly enforced? 1:30pm is much later than I usually like to embark. Any help or guidance is much appreciated. Happy Cruising everyone!

Having such a hard time deciding what to pack. Was it cold/cool? I am used to being warm on a cruise, and I am now thinking I may need less dresses, and more pants. Thanks in advance!

Thanks for this response Sheri. I am going to upgrade to the expedited service. I know it's $60 more but for peace of mind before my 2/20 cruise, I think it will be a $60 well spent. I sent mine in 12/22, and it still just says "received". Happy cruising!

So grateful to have seen this topic. Fingers crossed for the 6-9 weeks being true. I am sailing on Feb 20th out of LA to Mexico. My passport expires in 6/2023. I just submitted my application online for my renewal on 12/22. I know I can sail with my certified birth certificate if need be, but I would rather not if I can help it. Praying for the 3 weeks that I saw a few posters mentioned!

No problem. Your question was asked and answered. You can test Wednesday 8/24 in London. My question is a similar one. I didn't want to make a new post and irritate people, but clearly someone is always irritated. Have a beautiful cruise from Athens!

My booster was on October 30, 2021 - so my last shot will have been more than 270 days from my final day in Spain. But I am not eligible for another booster yet here in the US. Am I still ok? Thanks in advance 🙂

I board the Regal next Saturday 8/13 in Barcelona. I know I can test on Wednesday 8/10, but I am planning on testing back in the US as we leave that evening. Does the time difference matter? If I test at 9am in NYC, it will be 3pm in Barcelona. Is that fine? I have read so many threads. I can't figure out if the time you take test makes any difference. The ship leaves Barcelona at 10pm local time. Thanks in advance for any help offered 🙂

I am leaving on the Regal from Barcelona Saturday 8/13. I want to make sure I have this right- I can test starting at 12:01am on Wednesday 8/10 is that correct? If so, I may be able to test before I even leave the US as we leave Wed evening. That would be a relief if I am correct. Thanks in advance 😀

They may bet on the penny slots but you can be sure their bet isn't one penny 😆 My dad loves them too and they are often $10 or more per pull. You would need to spend big money for a free cruise I imagine!
