  1. Has anyone done this excursion through Carnival? I’m trying to find out how much actual beach time you get on it. Sent from my iPhone using Forums
  2. Thanks so much for the info! Sent from my iPhone using Forums
  3. I don't know if this is allowed here so moderators please delete if not allowed... but since there's no way to private message people through the boards (or is there??? it says disabled for me)... Organized Chaos - I have a bunch of gift cards that I purchased because I was planning to do Fly2Fun for my Mediterranean cruise this summer. Then I was able to use AA miles since reward travel is super cheap right now. I'd be happy to sell you a $500 card for the $450 I paid through All State. I have Cash app, Paypal (via bank account) or Venmo. I could email or text you the card # and PIN once payment is received (the PIN hasn't even been scratched off yet). I know you have no reason to know that I'm trustworthy so it won't hurt my feelings if you don't want to. Just seemed like a win win for us both given your Monday deadline. Email me if interested or want to talk further. (amypintx@yahoo.com)
  4. Did you have any problems getting a taxi to Red Hook? Seems like the taxi situation has gotten bad in St. Thomas.
  5. I'm searching/reading reviews for a hotel in Venice post cruise. I want to stay in the Santa Croce area to make it easy to transport luggage to hotel. I have a reservation at Hotel Arlecchino but noticed the Ca dei Polo. It's super cheap which makes me nervous but seems to have good reviews. Has anyone stayed here and can tell me about your experience? I've searched the threads and didn't find any mention of it.
  6. We've done this. My husband, son, mother and I were traveling in two cabins. My husband's casino offer and my offer were better than hers so we booked with my husband and son in one room and me and my mom in the other. When we got on board, I just took my card and my son's card to guest services and they rekeyed them so that his worked for the cabin with my mom and mine worked for the cabin with my husband. I guess they do it a lot because it wasn't a big deal and they didn't question anything at all.
  7. We were supposed to be on Magic right now so when we were looking for a cruise to reschedule, it was down to the Vista (Roatan/Belize/Cozumel) or Fascination for June. We did this southern itinerary out of San Juan one time years ago and loved it. We cruise a lot and it's nice to be able to go to different islands. I prefer port to sea days and love just having one sea day at the end. It was nice to just relax and do nothing on that last day. We've wanted to go again for a long time but airfare was always so expensive for us to get to San Juan. It's super cheap right now though! We were on Vista last March and I wasn't really a fan of all the crowds. So we just booked Fascination today. Now we've got our fingers crossed that social distancing works and everything is back up and running by June!
  8. We're looking for a small group excursion that allows us time to take one of the 45 minute boat rides from Cassis to see the calanques. Has anyone done "Marseille Shore Excursion: Marseille and Cassis Tour" thru Viator? Or does anyone have an affordable one you'd recommend? I was hoping to do Italy Tour's AIX Provence+ Cassis but they said there's not time in Cassis for the boat trip with their excursion.
  9. lshpak - Did you end up doing this? We’re wanting to do the same thing in July. I’d love any tips or advice you have from your experience!
  10. Sunshine022 - We're planning to do these same four excursions on our cruise in July. How did they work out for you? Any tips or advice for making the most of them???
  11. Thanks so much for checking! That's exactly what I needed to know.
  12. For those who have used Fly2Fun, were you able to manage your tickets through the airline's website or only through the Fly2Fun site? I got a free trial to AA's platinum status so if I purchase through them, I can pick the "main cabin extra" seats for free but Fly2Fun doesn't know that (of course) so I can only pick regular economy. My question is, if I book through Fly2Fun (it's $300pp cheaper for the exact same flights) could I then pull up my reservation on AA and pick new seats with the elite perks??? Has anyone been able to do this?
  13. We went in July (me, my 13 year old son and my 72 year old mom) so I can't help you with weather but here's what we did in the ports: Tracy Arm - Highly recommend the small boat tour through the ship. I debated it due to the cost but I'm so happy we did it. We got to get up close to both glaciers. Skagway - We rented a car and drove the Klondike highway (basically the same path the train takes) to Emerald Lake and back. We loved being able to stop anywhere we wanted to take pictures and to not have to wait for a giant tour bus of people to get on and off at all the picture stops. Plus we could stay as long as we wanted. We used Murray's Guide to pick where we wanted to stop and to learn more about everything we were seeing. Juneau - Whale Watching/Mendenhall combo through Juneau Whale Watch. We had a great day... got to see several baby whales breaching and had plenty of time to walk the trail to Nugget Falls. Ketchikan - We loved the Deadliest Catch excursion. Definitely worth the $. We stayed in Seattle for 2 days post cruise and got the CityPass to see all the sites. Definitely worth it to get the pass if you're planning to do those attractions anyway.
  14. CCLcruiserga - which company did you use for your private snorkeling and sting ray excursion in Grand Turk?
