  1. Indeed. This new way definitely gets you excited in preparation of what's to come. However with the old pattern way it did have that little element of surprise.
  2. Well that's what I'm referring to is the note. Otherwise you always had to look on the patter and the fine print on the hours of the locations and they used to quietly list it there.
  3. That's a shame! I know they had it back in December when I was last on the Enchanted.
  4. I know besides the Sky, the Enchanted, the Regal, and the Discovery are all doing that and I love that it's what I thought was becoming fleetwide.
  5. I love how now they put a little flyer in your cabin the first day of the cruise letting you know what all the dinner theme nights are in the buffet. Just curious for those who are currently on board, what the theme nights are looking like for a 14 day sailing. If anyone is able to share I would greatly appreciate it. I don't particularly eat in the leader deck especially for dinner but I do love to me under around to see what's available. Plus I do enjoy a good ramen/dumpling bar, they usually offer.
  6. Yes, on the second leg as long as it was booked as two separate trips and not one big one for example two 7-day cruises versus a 14 day. You will automatically be rolled in as an elite for the second leg then. Enjoy your new perks!
  7. On my most recent four day cruise just a short few weeks ago instead of calling it formal night they did have their dress to impress night. So depending on how you want to interpret that or how formal you feel like dressing.
  8. Thank you! Oooh I see Matt got promoted to ED. Good for him! So deservant, as he was an excycruise director.

  10. Yes they still have formal nights.
  11. Yes! And it is fantastic making disembarkation quick easy and a breeze with its efficient facial recognition.
  12. I was about to say that was some hike of a price from $40 to $100. For me personally the wine makers dinner I actually prefer over the chef's table. It is so delightful and wonderful.
  13. Thanks for that insighted. When I was on the sky back in February I know Matt Barnard mentioned he was supposed to join mid-May. I don't join the sky until another 4 weeks, which I'm very excited for. I hope you have a fantastic cruise as you sail through Norway and Iceland!
  14. @Rick&JeannieI'm so sorry to bother you on the start of your trip but if you have time on your wonderful trip to report back.... Could you kindly find out how long the cruise director Paul will be on board until. Also if you could take a picture of the officer board I'd appreciate it immensely. Thank you in advance
  15. The full ship tours have not been reinstated since the restart of the pandemic unfortunately.
  16. All inside cabins that hold up to four passengers all have them always coming out from the side of the wall unless you are booked in a balcony and up where this is not an issue as they're hidden and tucked in the ceiling and you also have the option of a sofa and some cabins
  17. Menus you will not have access to until you board the ship and they will only put out the menus for a day of. As far as the schedule on journey view it depends on the ship with the person in charge of scheduling when they put it up. Sometimes it could be up a month before your trip with a few activities but not everything listed. Sometimes about 2 weeks prior it'll be all there and I've been on some ships where nothing will appear until I set foot on the ship. It's very hit and miss but I understand the excitement of wanting to review everything as I know it makes me excited.
  18. This is when we say cruising is back indeed! But as any vacation goes vacation is whatever you make it to be. So whether it's busy or crowded I always look the other way as I'm just grateful to be there and enjoying a restful fun and amazing vacation.
  19. I wonder if the new menu should have it made its way yet on the older ships. But rule of thumb usually always is if you pull lightly ask for something parse The fettuccine Alfredo if it's not on the menu they're always so delightful and accommodating about trying to very best to prepare it for you. Sometimes they can prepare it right on the spot or they put a special order in for the next evening which is above and beyond.
  20. Well any holiday cruise including Thanksgiving and Christmas and New years are going to be fully packed as kids are off from school. But is it less crowded in between on those off weeks I would say they're still rather full.
  21. Which chip are you on? I personally in my own opinion thought that was a silly move on princess's part knowing how popular the fettuccine Alfredo is and to replace it with a lasagna seems mind boggling.
  22. Private room within sabatini's
  23. @Eglesbrech Do you know how much longer the cruise director Paul will be onboard? Also is it possible that you could take a picture of the portal screen that has all of the current officers onboard. Much appreciated.
  24. So far according to the deck plans on the Princess website they have sabatini's and Crown Grill mentioned I don't know what other surprises they have up their sleeves and regards the specialty dining but nothing is mentioned about the catch by rui
