  1. I definitely had an Arizona area code and my guy was from London nice thick accent.
  2. Does a CVP randomly reach out to people who never book directly with princess??? I've done about 100 cruises with princess and always have booked independently with my personal l agent. I found it odd they reached out, and they saw that I have like 8 upcoming cruises. It's not like I'm a one and done passenger, as I'm clearly loyal.
  3. They kept saying once you give the deposit they will immediately send over an email to go over all of the benefits. Honestly if it's not a scam they shouldn't hesitate to send over all this prior to payment. And the fact they needed money today and decline to give you time such as a few days to think about it seemed odd. Kinda felt like a car sale.
  4. It almost sounds like it's a CVP as he says I'll be working with you along with your travel agent with booking everything from flights to hotels or cruises. I did just email that privacy address that you had sent and post it to ask them to clarify if this is legit or a scam so I know whether or not to warn others
  5. Same exact info the OP posted. He did provide a phone number and ext and princess.com email. I didn't give agree to anything, but just like the OP they had both mine and my dad's captain circle infor with all my contact stuff and cruise history. For kicks I sat and listened the whole spiel. Scam? Not sure? 🤷‍♀️ If it isn't a scam, doesn't matter because ethe package doesn't really pretain to me as I don't do hotel / resort stays when traveling on my cruises. They wanted a $3000 deposit today and then lowered it to $1500 today for the deposit and with both a monthly payment plan. In 7;days will start the access to $6000 of FCC to spend. And all the other promompoints which he used from 750 points to 1500. You have 2 years with all this moola. But the deal / deposit must be made today! Ummm sorry body I'm not laying any money out. Also.lile the OP I do not have a princess cvp. I use my own independent personal travel agent , which this guy has all the info on as well.
  6. I'm good with my mini bar setup and switching it out for what I would like. Nothing on the premier package or really even a plus package is beneficial for me especially since I don't drink.
  7. I saw that I booked independently for the same exact flights is about $130 cheaper versus EZ air to fly out to LAX. In the beginning when I started traveling via plane to get to the ship I would be risky and just book it independently even though I would fly and always day of. And then I started booking with easy or just for that safety net for embarkation. Thank God for most cruises being a local here in South Florida but the port in my backyard is a huge bonus would not having to worry about flights.
  8. Just curious how many like using Princess EZ Air when vooking Flights. I know most like the safety net aspect, but sometimes flights are much cheaper when booking independently (not always). How do you like booking your flights when air travel is needed for your cruise?
  9. I understand if they did considering that it's just such a short leg and all. Because if they did multiple short cruises then they would be doing at least two empty luncheons in a week. I will find out when I go in April.
  10. Ok, That's not too bad of a trade-off versus not having anything at all. I only ask because I absolutely enjoy those empty luncheons so incredibly much. No better way to end a cruise by filling you up to the rim with a full and happy tummy.
  11. Does anyone know on these four day themed cruises if they still do most traveled passenger luncheon?
  12. Disembark is on a Wednesday, and yes I have precheck
  13. And if someone can refresh my memory what time breakfast in the MDR begins on disembark that would be great. You would think I have this memorized by now with constantly being onboard, but I'm drawing a slight blank. Is it at 6:00 or 6:30 a.m.?
  14. does anyone know what time the Discovery Princess starts It's disembarkcation with walk offs in San Pedro, (assuming that's where the discovery princess is out of)? Is a 11:40am Departure From LAX on Disembark Day Practical with LA traffic? Or am I cutting it too close for my flight?
  15. Yes. No problem at all. When you get charged on your bill they just automatically at the end of the cruise deduct the onboard credit off from the bill
  16. Personally for me, I wish the casinos were smoke-free, especially when you have to cut through the casino to get to the theater. It's not the most pleasant walk through.
  17. Some cruise lines already are smoke free with their casinos, and some enlarging the casino space to offer more areas that are considered smoke-free. Do you think casinos onboard should be a smoke free zone?
  18. Personally, I'm all about the IC almond croissants! The donuts are readily avilable every morning at IC during breakfast hrs.
  19. Cleaning twicr a day of the cabin, Yes just let your cabin steward know you would like both. Drinks included are water, iced tea, lemonade during lunch on the lido, orange juice during breakfast, as well as you'll find little smoothie drinks during breakfast at International Cafe and the lido, in the MDR you can get milk, juices, hot cocoa, tea, and coffee. Yes you could take one bottle of wine per person on the ship. Southampton to London you can either take the Princess Cruises bus transfer, or you could take the train which would be the cheapest route versus like getting a cab.
  20. Completely agree, but was incredibly happy when I saw the news yesterday about starlink. Woohoo!
