Myself and family were on the spirit in March.The prime rib,and filet steak were awful, They came out done as ordered,but the quality of the meat was terrible.We have travelled on Carnival for many years and this was just the worst.I don't expect the filet to be steakhouse quality,but in the past they were fine.Their pasta dishes were the best thing on the menu.While I enjoy pasta I didn''t want to eat it all week.Went to the steakhouse,and of course the quality of the filet was good.We did b2b so the food was a problem for us.It really is making us rethink are 2024 cruise.

I'm coming in on the Thurs. and the cruise is Sat.I will get tested at home on the Wed.I wish it could cover both,but I think I'm a day late for the Carnival rules.Thank you

Thanks for your reply.I think your right would probably be more options for all the necessary needs. I would like to stay around 250.00 - 300.00 US.I was looking at Hilton Long Beach,but they seem to have negative comments.I am on my own this trip,and being a little older female I don't want a seedy place.Tks.

Cruising out of Long Beach for the first time,and not sure if I should stay by the airport or stay right in Long Beach. I will be flying in,and need to get a covid test.I seen the airport offers the test,but for around 200.00.I was hoping to find something cheaper.I thought it might be easier to find testing in Long beach.I am totally clueless about the area. What do you guys think? Thank You
