  1. Thats good for you Teddie, but the RCCL person I talked with concerning the balcony discount told me something different. Enjoy your cruise hope you have a wonderful time.
  2. That balcony discount seems to not be very useful...really...if RCCL has any other discounts (and they always do) you cannot combine them with the discount. So, a first-time customer gets same price as Diamond Plus loyalty member.
  3. Smallest inside cabin we have ever seen. Door from hall opened mid cabin. The TV when pushed in all the way inhibited the entrance into the room. It had to be extended then pushed away from the doorway. Hardly any shelves/storage in the bathroom. It was impossible to walk around one corner of the bed you had to crawl in and out from the foot to get in/out. Of course, no fridge, phone was on opposite wall from the bed wall and was mounted crooked, so it was difficult to hang up, so it kept falling off. The closet had one side that only had half of the door to the closet that would open. This made getting to the clothes or shoes etc. a difficult stretch. I'm not a large person, but this cabin is the first one where my own butt got in my way. Would never book a cruise on this ship again. I know I could get a balcony and it might be roomier but it left bad impression on us.
  4. Has anyone tried the "Spicey Tiger Schrimp" from the main dining menu?
  5. I recently tested positive while on RCCL cruise, I asked the doctor if they had very many other positive cases on our cruise. The doctor did not give me any numbers but said they always have positive cases on every cruise either guests or crew or both. She said their goal is zero positive but they have not reached it yet.
  6. No our drive was around 12 hours they just took us to our car in #18 parking lot which is at terminal 18.
  7. Yes my wife was given option to stay in our original room. She is now having symptoms of covid they began on Monday. So far hers are milder than mine were. I am feeling better but still coughing and milder headache, thanks.
  8. Just got off cruise on Sunday tested positive for Covid on Saturday. I went to the medical center after calling for an appointment at 0730 hrs. I arrived at 0800 and was taken to an examination room and vitals were taken. The doctor ordered a pcr test to see if I had covd, after about an hour they came and told me I was positive. My wife was given a antigen test (she had no symptoms) it came back negative. She was taken to our stateroom to pack our things for the move to the red zone located on the 6 deck where the quarantined people go. I remained in the examination room until 1230 before the hazmat team came for me. It was a team of 4 all dressed in your typical hazmat gear, one had a little portable fogger to disinfect the examination room and then follow behind me up to the 6 deck fogging behind me in the hallway. I waited for about 30 minutes for my wife to be brought down, they had to defog our original cabin along with our luggage. Once in the room you are in quarantine you will get room service but you cannot leave. The next morning at 0600 they brought down breakfast. At 0700 they came for us with the hazmat team and a luggage buggy. They loaded the luggage and took it down to deck two where we were deboarded. The day before my wife told me a rep. came down when she was packing and took pictures of our vacc cards and our passports. Upon our deboarding we did not have to deal with customs. Once off the ship they had 4 to 5 black large SUV's standing by. Our luggage was loaded into the SUV and we were taken to our vehicle in he parking lot where they loaded our car. Now to answer your question they gave me dayquil and niquil and a small bag of cough drops.
