I did that in Edge and get to the list of excursions for that port but then cannot bring up individual excursions. It looks like broken links.

Yes you unfortunately need to repeat the process on the "excursion details" tab as well. PITA but I was able to book excursion reservations earlier today doing that.

I get around the excursion issue by Right clicking on the link and then selecting "Open link in a new tab". Stupid that I have to do so but it works fine.

Had the same issue today but this work around worked. Thanks Thrak! Agee that it is stupid that we need to.

Princess has just ‘partnered’ with Lavazza to supply the ‘beans’. Coffee at the Buffett will now be dispensed from large Lavazza branded dispensers as shown in previous post #2.

IC coffee will still have a charge unless you have plus or premier pkg.

Wow, improving something without making it a package perk or upcharge? What a concept! 😃

Congrats!!!  I'm hoping to be able to give a Woot! Woot! if Princess smiles upon my bids for upcoming B2B October 21-28.  Enjoy the Vista Suite.  Where are you sailing???

Ours sets sail on October 15 so if they are going by sail date maybe we will hear something on our mini bid soon. We will see.

I have no reason to believe that a phone app isn't the present & future for leisure industries. My question really is was it smart to spend development funds during a time when there was no or limited income to pay for a proper development, and no way to really test the system? Princess better get it right soon.

Not much of a choice other than to go backwards to cruise cards. It was already well into implementation. They had to try and have it ready and working well for the restart, in that they failed.

Only if you do not use it again during the cruise.  I suspect if someone tries it once and the order does not arrive and they go to CS and ask for a refund and do not use it again they will probably be successful in getting a refund.  If someone uses it several times has 1 problem order and asks for a refund probably not.

Nope, I paid to have it work every time for the whole cruise 😉, not just the first order. The point is that they better pick up their game from my limited experience onboard recently, or expect a lot more unhappy cruisers at CS. Personally I prefer to go to the bar/food station myself, or order from a server, even if I have delivery included, so I don't use it much, except as an occasional fun experiment. The DW on the other hand is a regular user. $1/day/pp for our 15 day cruise is such a major benefit to the new package 🤪.

Probably, which is a waste of product and a waste of the servers time, therefore money. Eh, charge their onboard account if they can't have the decency to wait for their order. Or, tell them if it happens more than x number of times they will be charged.

Should be a two way street. If the order doesn't show in in 45min., or shows on the app as delivered even when we never got it (have had both happen several times). $14.99 OBC refund?

With all the MedallionClass hype, I assumed all of the information would be on the app.  It seems like some of it is on the app, some of it is on the web site.  Lots of room for confusion and errors.

Welcome to Princess, they need lots of room for confusion and errors, they have an abundance.

Well, it certainly reads that way. Who knows what anybody is getting once onboard anymore 🤦‍♀️!

You got that right. Unfortunately it would not surprise me if they started including specialty non-alcohol drinks in the 15 limit. They have been trying to push the packages to include customers that do not consume alcohol. Sad, but  adding something that was included seems to be the way they are going.

  10. We use clip-on name badge holders with a retractable cord. I like them better than a lanyard and already had some in the desk drawer from previous a employer, but they can be purchased pretty inexpensively.

I keep reading how we are all confused and rightfully so.  But I have to let you know that the personnel seems equally confused.  Although the four of us are ordering drinks daily - both specialty coffees and alcohol - they don’t seem to be keeping count.  I should have had 4 drinks deducted from my 15 yesterday and had only 1.

today, it is very early in the morning and I have gotten zero coffees yet my account reads 1.  Princess has a lot of work to do on this.

Keep in mind that the count is as far as I know for a 24hr rolling window, not by calendar day, so early am last nights drink could still be there.

I agree with you, but now I learned others here are not being given the newer level of princess plus.  So as usual 1.  Depends on who you ask.  2.  Hopefully deal with bars that think like the answer you got.

we realized yesterday that the 15 drink limit per day - which I was lead to believe was an alcohol drinking limit only daily also includes specialty coffees.  This too is most confusing as if you get that specialty coffee at the intl. cafe they take one of the 15 drinks.  If you get it at the coffee and cones on lido deck no deduction from the 15.  This is on the Ruby right now.

the only new item I personally think is DUMB is called Ocean Ready.  This is where you can order and pay for food to be delivered anywhere.  Sorry, but between Lido buffet, pizza, burgers and the MDR and specialty restaurants why pay for a delivery service?..

Thanks for the update. The Ruby wasn't scheduled to start the new changes until the 15th.

I think you may have to pay the extra $10/pp/day to maintain the Plus Package.  You may also just be able to withdraw altogether from the Plus if you choose to.

Originally my thought, except the app shows the new 60 package for my next cruise even though I paid for the 50, so I presume that is what will be connected to the medallion and used onboard. Would like more confirmation from those onboard as this rolls out. If it is as Knickearth has stated onboard, had some already pay the difference, then what? It certainly would be easier for the crew and service desk as well if there was only one plus package used onboard. We will see.

Agree.  Good way to try a particular cocktail that you heard about.  If you don't like it, leave it and get something you like.

Or mocktail/soft drink or juice bar item or premium dessert. I just was raised not to waste.  So I will usually finish it and then try something else to wash the taste away.

We're in the same situation right now & we have the plus package at the old $50 per day price

We have plus 50 on our next cruise and then plus 60 after that. On the app for our next cruise when I click on the packages tab it shows as the plus 60. The travel summary in the personalizer shows the plus 50. More Princess contradicting information.
