I booked using partial air miles on airmiles.ca. Not on the HAL site. I got a great price in CAD, for an obstructed balcony. No extras. I would definitely consider purchasing an HIA? (what does this stand for?) Currently priced signature bev pkg for my 6 day cruise (Rotterdam April), $55USD x 6 x 2 =$660 USD would converts to at least $890 CAD.

Are there ever any beverage package promotions offered prior to embarkation? Just the beverage package, I'm not taking about a promotion with a cruise fare. I have my cruise booked and am wondering if there is ever a promotion offered on the Signature Beverage Package to entice you to purchase. I know it is cheaper to purchase ahead of the cruise and is more expensive if purchased once on board.

I am in the process of booking a March 19, 2023 cruise on the N.Amsterdam. I am surprised there are so many cabins remaining. Does no one want to sail on this ship? Is there an issue with her that I don't know about? Thanks.

I am thinking of booking my first cruise with MSC, on the Meraviglia. My question is concerning the outside cabins (port hole). I have seen videos of outside cabins on youtube and these did not have a sofa. Only one chair. How do I book an outside cabin with a sofa? Do I have to book one showing an occupancy of 3 or 4? And do all balcony cabins have a sofa? thanks.

As the OP, I am glad I asked. Not sure where I got the idea that the Dutch Cafe was not included for Cappuccinos. This is my favorite place for an afternoon break but I have not cruised for 2 years 7 months and 28 days. So, is it the Dutch beers or other alcoholic beverages that are not part of the SBP?

Where on the Pinnacle class ships do I get a specialty coffee using by beverage package? I know that the Dutch Cafe is not included in that promotion.

Has anyone visited recently? Last time I was at Grand Turk was March 2020 just before lock down. It used to be a nice beach with free chairs but had turned into a jam packed hustle of $45 dirty chairs and umbrellas. Has this changed? I know there are nicer beaches but I am just asking about the one at the end of the dock.

I wasn't expecting so many negative comments. We will be on the Nieuw Statendam, 8:00PM first night. And honestly, only because it is free. I agree that it all depends on the Executive Chef and Maître d'. Hopefully they both expect excellence from their staff and our experience will be a great start to the cruise.

We have booked our complimentary dinner (that was received as a booking promotion), at the Pinnacle Grill. Am I assuming correctly that a complimentary dinner given as a booking promotion would not include the 18% gratuity? If not, would the 18% gratuity be charged to the cabin or would I need to bring cash? Also, from past experience, the beverage package was not honored at the Pinnacle Grill. Is this still true? Thanks.
