  1. Update to my earlier post - I received a call this a.m. from the Executive Offices. The person I spoke with resolved my issues and thoroughly explained about using OBC for Shore Excursions pre-cruise and how it's "different" for Japan and that you book but don't pay and the excursion is then "reserved" and OBC used to pay for it once onboard. She also sent me the written documentation explaining the process if I need to show it once onboard.
  2. When are you cruising and what ship? Public transport is definitely an option. Which airport are you flying into?
  3. @trintravindicated in an earlier post that he had the Premier Pkg and when he'd ask for a lited wine it wasn't available. We're on Diamond in end of April '25 and like the better wines. His is not the only post I've seen where it's been mentioned that they're typically "not available"......so seeing a list really won't help if they're "not available".
  4. Thank you! Your posts are always concise and appreciated. After researching and looking at You Tube videos I think we can do the Airport Limousine Bus and then take a cab from the stop closest to our hotel. We'll each have a backpack and a Med suitcase with 4 wheels. We'll take it slow and at our pace. With the bus someone will put the luggage in the hold and remove it so it should be easier than navigating it on the train.
  5. I did not use the term lie in my email (just used it here)....and yes used Incorrect Information. My desired outcome is to have Princess acknowledge me as a customer and give me what the agent offered.
  6. I get that but I started with my 1st email the end of September. While I like the Princess onboard product and have several future bookings....Shoreside Knowlege and Customer Support are sorely lacking.
  7. I'd be happy to have a chance to talk to someone but my emails seem to be going into some big dark hole.
  8. My issues are not of a nature to be resolved onboard a ship.....and were not situations that happened onboard. See my response to @dog
  9. I feel I've been very clear and consise citing dates, who I spoke with and numbering my questions.
  10. I have an excellent Travel Agent who goes to bat for me. One of my questions had to do with a booking I made with a CVP and transferred to my TA. The CVP outright lied to me and I would like someone to review the call and hear what I was told. My other questions are regarding Shore Excursions & using OBC to pay for them pre-cruise. I can handle that one as I do not have an option for an upcoming Japan cruise but do for my other cruises. If it can't be done.....just tell me why.
  11. Thanks....We can still use the bus to the Yokohama City Terminal and take a cab.
  12. I just looked and that route is not operational. We don't travel until April so I'll check again as that stop would be perfect for us.
  13. We wanted to fly into Haneda but the flight times did not work. Is it the Airport Limousine Bus that will go from Narita to the Hotel New Grand?
  14. I am able to use OBC to book Shore Excursions for all my upcoming cruises except the Diamond Princess sailing RT Yokohama. I'm curious if anyone else has been able to use OBC pre-cruise on Diamond and, if not, if you got an answer as to why not? At first I was told I should be able to and to check back in 24 hours. When I still couldn't I was told by a rep in Shore Excursions that "they system won't allow it". If there's a specific reason....I get it....but would like to know why.

  16. I am very frustrated with Princess Customer Relations. I sent an email Sept 28 with no reply so I then forwarded the Sept 27 email on October 31. Both emails were sent to csteinke@princesscruises.com and customerrelations@princesscruises.com. On 11/25 I forwarded the 2 previous email to lwarren@princesscruises.com and to Customer Relations. Again....No reply. Who can I write to at Princess Cruises who will respond to an email?
  17. Berth 92 in LA has a small area where Elite/Suite Guests can wait to board. The Permanent Tent area is where you get your luggage and do Customs when you debark. We love that they have facial recognition there.
  18. I tried to do that on our Oct 19 Discovery cruise and, for the large bottles, there would have been a charge......and were not included.

  20. I'm disappointed to see the Red Wine Choices for Premier Pkg. We'll be on Discovery for NYE and will ask if they still have Belle Glos Pinot and Seghesio Zinfandel available for Premier.
  21. We will be sailing on Diamond Princess next year. I've read that since she sails exclusively in Japan that the wine offerings may be different that wines offered in the rest of the Fleet. I'd love to see a wine list for Diamond Princess (and not the Fleet wide menu) that shows wines available by the glass and hear from those who have sailed on Diamond about their experiences.
  22. I submitted a request Aug 2 for an Oct 19 cruise. Got the same automated reply right away and finally heard that a Meet & Gree was set up on Oct 14. It was with Officers and a nice get together. I do think a bit more notice would be helpful.
