  1. Wait... What?! It's on the menu?! Just made my day!!!!
  2. I'll do my best! But... I do have the drink package. HAH!
  3. Oh this bothers me so much! I assume it's for the same reason as I have. S/M usually fits most, but these are just tiny. I'll be on that ship in July and that was my hope, that they could be exchanged.
  4. Sorry for the delayed response. I received the J&J shot from a community center, and then booster from CVS. I have email inquiries into the center on how to get the info. My card is legible, but so worn from having to carry it with me and show it constantly (had to use it to go anywhere in LA county for awhile). I'm not going to overthink it, and it'll be fine (according to my Princess person). I just know this might be an issue for others too, and was interested in getting everyone's thoughts since this is my go-to for cruise questions and issue.
  5. My card won't upload in the system, and is totally thrashed. I don't have the opportunity to get another before my trip. Do you think there will be an issue? I have a picture of it, but nothing in the actual CDC system.
  6. And thanks, Princess, for being all inclusive!
  7. Just received my medallions and the wristbands are WAY smaller than I thought. I figured a small/med would be fine but it's just a bit too small. Does anyone know if you can exchange them at embarkation? Or on the ship? I don't want to waste the money and buy a new one, but it just doesn't fit most of the people in my party.
  8. I think it all depends on maturity. If you know they can handle being alone, great! If you have doubts, probably not the right time. If you know they will be respectful of the space, room steward, and each other, now is a great time.
  9. Do they still have the dispenser things with the shampoo and body wash in the shower? I know this is a tiny detail, but traveling across the country with three kids, the last thing I want to cart is a gallon of shampoo.
  10. I've always used CP, so I don't know. Sorry, wish I could expand further.
  11. You can book excursions pretty quickly after your cruise purchase. My problem with it is I'll have a few hundred dollars of OBC I want to use for that, but can't until I get on the ship. Which annoys me.
  12. I am all about the Princess Plus! It's nice to not have to have the extra worries about gratuities (even though I always do extra), being able to access my email, and drinks! I used to be one of those to smuggle booze in listerine bottles, but still ended up racking up a larger bill just from dinner drinks or drinks at a show. Highly worth it if you like your cocktails!
  13. Those who have traveled recently, did you have any problem just showing your card on embarkation day? I can't seem to upload mine correctly so I figured that I'll just show it during check in. Does that work? Do they scan it or anything or just make sure it's correct and give it back?
  14. Has anyone ordered the specialty coconut cake from the ship? I know they can do the little chocolate ones in the MDR, but I'm not a fan of chocolate cake and my mom wants to do something special. Is it good? Worth it? It is super cute!
  15. Are they requiring you to wear masks inside? I read that that was coming back, and I really hope not.
  16. Do they have alcoholic seltzers? And I'm sure we would all love to see a patter of some sort! Thanks for this! It gets me excited for my trip in July.
  17. My kids have only known Princess. Started when my oldest was 1 year old (she's now 15), and have always had a great time even outside the kid center. We always play the games and I haven't experienced where they were unwelcome anywhere. 1. I only took my kids to the musical shows, and if I wanted to see the comedian, I didn't take chances and would take them to the kid area before; but the music ones are great! 2. I have taken my kids to bingo many times. They find it boring though, but it is allowed. 3. I have not been since covid, but they used to have some games in the library area, and cards you could get from the passenger services desk. We always take a couple of decks with us anyway, and Catchphrase so we could play as a family. 4. Club settings are only that in the later hours unless specified. We spend most of our time with ship entertainment in the bars, and it has been perfect. 5. From what I remember about our last Alaska cruise was the pools were not heated, but the hot tubs were fun. 6. Hot tubs are for anyone! Sure, there might be some people who don't want to see kids in them, but they are welcomed to use it. I wouldn't let them go alone, but with an adult present, it's just fine. There were many of times where I sat on a lounge chair reading while the four kids (ages 5-12 at the time) were in the hot tub. Hope this helps and enjoy!
  18. I've cruised on Princess with kids ranging from 6 months to 13 years old, and the kids club has always been fantastic. There are always activities and they bring back a bunch of art (and random other "prizes"). It's a great way for them to socialize and a great break for parents. And they are open lateish so my littles would always go hang out for a bit after dinner and it would give them a chance to get tired and a well deserved break for the adults.
  19. Thank you for this. I was wondering (and hoping) it was still an option.
  20. I agree. I have done so many in the past, and I don't know why I always feel the need to go. I rarely enjoy myself and usually get shushed because of trying to have a good time. And the snacks are terrible. Definitely go to vines and try those rather than either of the tastings.
  21. Sure! Change it up! I was just trying to catch people's eyes as they scrolled through. More people are apt to look at complaints than they are positive notes, that's why I titled it what it is.
  22. I keep reading all of everyone's struggles with their most recent cruising with Princess. How about this... What is one thing you loved/want to rave about from your last cruise?
  23. Will be sailing on the Caribbean Princess in July. Does anyone know if you can still get robes in your room? I haven't cruised since covid, and the Princess cutbacks, but hoping this is still an option.
