  1. Day 43 since our AK cruise was cancelled and still waiting for the refund (Cruise & Shorex’s) all put on my Princess Visa. Not mad at Princess, but it is getting a little long in the tooth as I would like my 15K back..... Bob

  5. The report you are referring to was a draft study completed by Johns Hopkins. The numbers do justify this study simply and the report was never fully vetted. Furthermore, the IHME model shows a completely different projection than the draft report you were referencing. https://covid19.healthdata.org/united-states-of-america These are very challenging times we are in. Who knows what the cruise industry will look like a year from now. While I will do my best to remain safe, I will never consider ending my favorite (and pretty much only) way I like to go on vacation..... Bob
  6. We had the pleasure of sailing on the Golden for our first Hawaii cruise (2011). It was a great cruise. We also did a 3 day getaway cruise to Ensenada in 2013. I'll miss her..... Bob

  10. Just called my T/A and spoke to a co-worker. She confirmed this. Interesting thing I was told that it is 60 days from today. Our cruise is a scant four days outside this 60 day window but I'm not holding out much hope..... Bob

  13. This is really getting annoying. I still am unable to search for any cruises whether I am logged in or not. This is since Monday. I keep getting the "We apologize for the inconvenience" message. It happens from home and also when I try it from work (work does not block anything either)......😒😬🤨 Bob

  16. One thing I forgot to mention earlier during my live from concerning suites (at least on the Sky). In the past you get fresh flowers in your room. The successor to this was an orchid. The now have fake succulent plants instead of real flowers or orchids. The only real plants would be ones (flowers) you would purchase..... Bob

  19. Yes, a little dated. The radio for instance, where you could plug an IPhone into still had the old style (non lightning) mount. The furnishings also seemed a little dated but were clean and in good repair. I would not hesitate however to book another pre-cruise stay at the Lago Mar.....😊😊😊 Bob
