Hi Grandma,
Thanks for all the advice. I was trying to sign up for a meet and mingle. On my roll call I can't see where to sign up. Can you help? Thx June

Your travel agent is wrong. Azamara has reciprocal arrangements with Celebrity and with Royal Caribbean. If you are elite on Celebrity you will be Discoverer on Azamara. You (or your travel agent) should let Azamara know your Celebrity Captains Club number which will become your Le Club Voyage number.
You can find information about the reciprocal arrangements on Azamara’s website. Look for the ‘Le Club Voyage’ link in the menu at the very bottom of the page, then click on ‘Member Benefits’ and scroll down to the bottom. Here’s the link to the page. https://www.azamaraclubcruises.co.uk/le-club-voyage/le-club-voyage-programme/member-benefits
Azamazing nights are free excursions. There is one on every cruise of a week or more, except for transatlantic cruises. They are often some type of performance held in an exceptional setting - for example a 3 tenors concert in a beautiful old theatre. Although they are free, Azamara ask passengers to sign up for them so they know the numbers.
Thanks for the info! I’ll let my travel agent know. June

Azamara doesn’t have an inside pool. The steam rooms are in the spa itself.
Azamara’s loyalty club is Le Club Voyage (LCV) and has reciprocal arrangements with Celebrity Captain’s Club and Royal Caribbean Crown & Anchor. As Elite Plus you are Discoverer Plus on Azamara and get a number of benefits including 7% discount, $200/$300 OBC and a reduced deposit when you book onboard, 120 free WiFi minutes or $130 towards a full Voyage WiFi package, a free bag of laundry per full week & some savings on things like the spa etc. Here’s a link to the main LCV page on Azamara’s website. https://www.azamaraclubcruises.co.uk/le-club-voyage/le-club-voyage-programme/member-benefits.
Note that to get the free complimentary nights that are mentioned 50% of your qualifying voyages have to be with Azamara.

My travel agent told me I wouldn't get any credit with Azamara for my elite status on Celebrity. Which is correct? Anyone know? Also any idea what the Amazing Nights are? We are on a cruise from Hong Kong to Sinapore. Thanks

I can’t find the link to cruise countdown clocks. Has it been discontinued? Thx

Just tried Azmara and it still says under construction even with the suggested method to find roll calls...June

I realize this is an older post, but amc aaa - IF you see this message, how was 9043 around the horn?
We have the sister cabin, 9038 (starboard side) for Around the Horn this Christmas.
Would appreciate your thoughts of your cabin from last December.
Heather
The cabin is a regular balcony in terms of space. We had an odd shaped triangle balcony, a little bit bigger than a standard balcony. I think there are a few with the bigger balcony but not sure of the cabin number. The over head covers the entire balcony. You will not see the sun on the balcony. But the side view is fine. In the warmer ports in was great to be in the shade. We did stand out there a lot in the fjords. It will be fine. Enjoy your trip.

Just booked Infinity 9043 for Jan. Around Cape Horn... I hear this cabin is under deep cover for the balcony. How did you find this? Thanks June

We will be sailing B2B on the Infinity in a Buenos Aires to Miami cruise this coming February. I have not found recent photos of the cabin ( since the balcony was added) nor a recent review. We were interested in the size of the balcony and if it has a table large enough for dining on . Also are there loungers ? Is there a dining table in the suite? Should you have photos of the newer M class Celebrity suites could you share them? Thanks.
Hi Nancie,
How was your cabin? We are in it in 3 weeks time to Alaska. How was the noise... We are also doing arounc Cape Horn in Jan. 2016 on the same ship, different cabin. Was the ship in good shape then? Thanks June

I've booked a week cruise to Alaska and its on the Infinity. We sail June 14th. I'll let you all know how she looks on my return...June

I was in Aqua class recently on Constellation and the overhang did not bother me at all. I liked the shade. I cropped out the overhang if I needed to when taking photos from the balcony.
BTW, I am on your Infinity cruise around the Horn in january. See you there!:D
Neat! Are you on that thread as well? AQ? Can't wait. June

We've been on 3 other Celebrity cruises. Two on newer ships, Equinox and Eclispe, and one with the Constellation. I love the newer ships best but the Connie had been "Solsticized". Which meant the common areas had been improved and Aquaclass added. The ship showed it's age in the cabins but nothing major. We thouroughly enjoyed being on the Connie. Infinity was solsticized in Nov. 2011.
I've heard the refurbish for the Infinity is scheduled 2017 but couldn't verify that just now.
We too have booked an aquaclass at a cheaper fare than balcony. The only concern I have for Aqua is that on this ship aqua is on deck 9, under the pool and solarium. I've been under the cafeteria before and it was noisy in the AM when they slid the chairs around. Hoping that won't be a problem.
Thanks for the photos Miaminice! Gives us an idea what to expect. I think we'll stay with Aqua for this trip dispite the overhang... June

Does anyone here know if it's worth the $450US to stay inside the park at the Sheraton? If not where to stay? Thanks June

We did it in one day from Buenos Aires and it was fine. We had our guide in BA arrange for a guide to pick us up at Igusau airport, drive us to the park, guide us thru the park,, dinner and take us back to the airport and it worked out well. If you arranged private tours in RIo, ask if they have an agency or recommendation for your visit to the falls, which btw were wonderful.
We are going to BA in Jan. can you tell me who used for the tour! Email juneavis@shaw.ca. Thx June

They overhang is only a problem if you want sun on your balcony. It pretty much gives you full time shade, no matter which side of the ship you are on.
Thanks for your reply. Some shade might be good in the hot part of our trip. Does it affect your view at all?

Have any of you been in Cabin 9050 or one on deck 9? I've read the overhang from deck 10 is bothersome. What do you think? We are booked for Around the Horn Jan. 2016. Thanks June

We have been offered one of the following cabins on Summit for the Oct 25 cruise at a "reduced" rate... 9061, 9050, 9049. I can't find much info on any of them, except mention of a potential obstruction from a support.
We would be doing a b2b and moving from one of the aft A1s to the A2. Can someone provide feedback on any of the cabins listed above as to noise and view? Thanks
Just curious... We are booked on Infinity Cabin 9050 next year. Did you take the about cruise? Cabin 9050? How was it? Thanks June

On our Panama Canal Cruise, late one evening we enjoy standing on our balcony, feeling the sea breeze and watching a lightening storm in the distance. We couldn't hear the thunder but it was beautiful to watch. Seeing dolphins jump in the wake of the ship is my next favorite experience. Once you have a balcony you can't go back....:)
