  1. Wasn't just on about Princess, but other cruise lines as well. P&O UK also owned by Carnival Corp have kettles in all cabins on all ships. So does Marella Cruise line(UK cruise line). I would of thought P&O Australia also have kettles as Aussies like a cuppa.
  2. No they're not. Plenty of ships have kettles in the staterooms. Currently Sapphire out of Southampton has them, so does Diamond in Japan.
  3. It's always been 18 when sailing from Southampton, so would thought the rest of Europe would be same.
  4. Yes, but most of them shouldn't be.
  5. Uber will be roughly £40-50, but could be vastly more depending on how busy it is.
  6. These will be the shop hours which will be either 1000-1600 or 1100-1700. Or if you find a small convenience store, their hours will be longer.
  7. There's an ASDA supermarket and a Marks & Spencers both close by. Both have a good selection of wine at varying prices.
  8. I know in the USA they class it as the 1st floor, but, in the UK it classed as the Ground Floor and the 1st is actually what you'd class as the 2nd. So you may need to be careful what you ask for. Or you may find yourself climbing a flight of stairs. All pubs and restaurants are required by law to have a 'Disabled Toilet' on the ground floor.
  9. If one of your ports is in Guernsey, then you shouldn't pay VAT, as they are classed as being outside the EU for Customs and VAT purposes. Similar to Gibraltar and the Canaries.
  10. Don't know if you've been before, so here are some photos for you.
  11. Always keep a copy of your final statement. If any extra charges appear on your CC afterwards, just challenge them with your credit card issuer and provide them with a copy of your final bill. They will then stop all payments to the cruise line, the cruise line will soon amend the amount, as they don't want to lose the entire amount..
  12. This is what I see on my windows desktop using chrome browser.
