I had an interesting situation on a British Isles cruise over the summer. I changed out of my excursion clothes (capris and a t-shirt) before dinner. I put on dress pants, nice shirt, and a blazer. It was "formal" night and this was something I'd generally wear to work. After an early dinner, I changed into a hoodie and long, casual pants because I wanted to go outside on the deck and it was starting to get chilly. I have mobility issues and don't like walking outside in my heeled dress shoes. I didn't go back to my stateroom and instead went direct to a bar to hear a pianist. An older lady walked by me and my husband and said I guess you don't have appropriate clothes for formal night! My point is that even if you do dress "appropriately" for dinner, you may still get a snide comment outside of the MDR if during the dinner period. Just live and let live!

Has anyone been to the new Museum of Junkanoo at the cruise port? What are the hours and is there an admission fee?

Is there a shortcut to walk between Ardastra Gardens and Fort Charlotte if I take a taxi to one location? I've read in some places that they're "next" to each other but Google Maps shows a 13 minute walk. I know from experience that sometimes Google Maps doesn't always send you the most direct route when walking. Thanks!

Thank you for your report. My husband and I are taking this cruise in July and we're looking forward to it. Do you need tender tickets for Guernsey, or does everyone just get in a line? We have a locally-booked tour about 2 hours after the ship arrives.

I'm taking a British Isles cruise this summer and plan to take the Bee Le Havre bus from Le Havre to Honfleur. I'd like to visit Eglise St. Joseph before taking the bus but am visiting on a Sunday. Does anyone know where I can find the mass schedule? I don't want to attend mass, but hope to avoid it so I can have a look around.
