Does anyone know if RCI are offering transfers to Trieste from Ravenna. They have a responsibility to transfer guests who are already in Ravenna I would have thought.

No it’s up to us to get to Venice unless you have organized flights/transfers through Royal, they are providing a transfer to Trieste from Venice though for everyone. There was me thinking how clever I was flying into Bologna too as it is closer to Ravenna 🤣🤣🤣

As D+ we would like to use the BOGO on the first night of the cruise in Chops.  But when booking the 3 night dining package online it made me put in a time on the first night.  I dont want to use the package on the 1st night.  I would like to use the BOGO first and then the three night package sometime during the rest of the cruise.  Is this doable ...... combining the BOGO and the 3 night package?  Am I making sense 😄 😄

We did this recently on Harmony, checked that we had a reservation when we boarded, then told our server at dinner that we would be using our BOGO that night - it wasn’t a problem at all.

I looked online and it looks like a lot of   the food at Wonderland is small.  How do you order?  If you order several items is that a problem?  The menu is kind of confusing.

Your server will normally bring you a variety of appetizers and if there is one you particularly love he/she will bring more.  We have only had to choose our main course, which recently on Harmony was the pork - absolutely delicious.  Basically just ignore the menu and let your server guide you.

You can look online for both CVS and Walgreens locations to see which ones are offering testing (and what types - all don't have rapid, just some).  Of course this is for right now not February, but it will give you an idea.  Right now CVS is booking about 2 weeks in advance and Walgreens is booking 2-4 days in advance.

CVS in SW FL is only taking same day appointments for Antigen tests, had to wake up at 1am to log in and get appointment for that day !

I have been trying to research pre embarkation COVID testing for our Harmony cruise from Port Canaveral in November. We will be in Orlando for a week prior to the cruise. Our travel agent sent a query to RCI and she sent me the following “guests do need to source, book, and pay for their own PCR tests 2 days prior to departure - I asked if they are recommending any provider but they are not able to assist and advised it has to be down to guest to research”.  Not helpful at all, and incorrect, as I know we are able to have a lateral flow antigen test.
A lot of US COVID test websites don’t allow access from the UK. Additionally others don’t give prices and/or mention insurance etc. Our travel insurance won’t cover tests in the US.

For our two recent cruises in Europe, RCI just gave everyone free antigen tests, at the port before boarding. It was very slick. So accessing a test in a foreign country gives us something else to worry about. I’m sorry if these appear stupid questions, but I need to know we can access tests in the US before we travel there.

If we buy the Royal Caribbean supervised Abbot Binax tests, will we be able to download the Navica APP on UK devices once in the US? We are not able to download the APP in the UK. Also is it normal to have things like the COVID tests, delivered to a hotel? (Rosen Plaza, International Drive).

I see there is testing at MCO airport, can you access the test site without going through security? If so, we could have the test at the airport before catching the GoPort bus to Port Canaveral.

Does anyone have any other good advice please.

    Thanks

Try finding a CVS pharmacy near your hotel (google it) and give them a call.  We have UK friends who managed to get theirs done there for return to the UK and I believe it was free.

We have not cruised RCI since C-19. Just booked Oasis OTS for Feb 6 & 13 2022. Final Payments

are being shown as being due on Oct 29, 2021 and Nov5, 2021.

Has RCI increased the Final Payment Dates? It use to be 60 days. Now that is over 90 days.

Anyone else notice this? Thanks in advance.

We have 3 staterooms booked for Dec, 2 of them showed a final due date of two weeks ago and the other one is mid November, makes no sense but our TA advised us just to pay it !!!

Quite frankly their site is doing my head in, I’m sorry I booked! It’s so badly written….and very confusing.

I “think” that UK is still on the permitted list (https://cyprusflightpass.gov.cy/en/vaccinated-passengers) so we don’t have to do the test 72hrs before departure because that is on one section of the website, but I know we are on their Red list as per this update….who knows!

No pre-travel test required from U.K. as long as double vaccinated. Royal will do antigen test at terminal pre-boarding.

  8. Our cancelled cruise for 5/11 only received partial refund, still owed $650 and cents, similarly 5/27 cruise, received partial refund still owed $850 and cents - last credits received 4 weeks ago nothing since despite assurances would be on my cc 10 days ago.  Also due a refund of an FCC for $2095 which was used as partial payment for the 5/11 cruise with an expiration date of 10/31 - doubt they will extend that.  Wish they would stop playing these games and complete a refund on one cruise before they move to another.

Explorer is also about to head over to Spain for her drydock after they complete this weeks cruise.  No guests aboard for the crossing.  Biggest concen I've heard is the majority of the contractors are from Italy, so that may confound things for a while, and drydock may take longer than expected.  I'm supposed to cruise on her, from Rome, in July.  (And yes, I know its not actually in Rome, it's just easier to spell)

Us too cruising from Civitavechia in May and again in July !

We are doing a RCCL cruise in September and  after the cruise plan to visit Nice for a week.  There is a direct flight from Venice to Nice at 10.30 am but I am concerned that this is too early for us to disembark , get to airport, check luggage and board plane for the 10,30 am flight.   There are no more direct flights Venice to Nice as far as I can find

QUESTION................ is it likely that another direct flight will become available over the next few months or am I stuck with today's schedule?   Thanks in advance for your advice

    Dave

I would try and arrange a private transfer to the airport for 7.30 that way you would be at the airport in plenty of time.  Not sure if Royal would do a transfer that early, but worth enquiring with them also, they will want to know your flight details, then if they say the timing is ok I would go with them.

We have never been on a European cruise. We will be flying in from Florida to Barcelona two days before cruise departure. We have two boys with us 20/18 year old. We have done many Caribbean cruises. Any advice on where to stay in Barcelona and what to do while there would be great. We always like to book our tours in advance with a private guide not a royal caribbean package. If anyone has any advice who to book excursions through at the different ports would be great. Thanks in advance. These are our ports of call Nice, France, Florence, Italy, Rome, Italy, Naples, Italy, Kotor, Montenegro, Venice Italy for two days arrive at @2pm Zadar, Croatia. Not sure where they dock in Venice maybe take a water taxi to the main city. Thanks again for all the help.

    Melissa

The ship offered a 2 day water shuttle ticket when we were on Vision this year.  We actually walked, about 30 mins to Rialto Bridge and 40 to St. Marks - Venice is fabulous you will love it.  We are doing the same cruise again next year in Aug and Sept.

Hello all I am new on this forum.

We are non-us citizen booked with RCCL US office and we are taking a transatlantic cruise to USA with RCCL.

I've already did the online checkin for the setsail pass but do non-us citizen need to fill up the Advance Passenger Information System (APIS) form?

I've called the US office call center but the agent was like what do you mean by APIS, what's that? And after a long hold to contact the relevant department, they said we only require a passport but they sound like they were skeptical about it. Can anyone please advise us on what to do? Thanks!

To enter the USA, depending on your country of Citizenship you will either need an ESTA (which you can apply for online) or a visa.  You cannot board an aircraft without either of these flying to the US so doubt you could board a ship bound for the US.

My last JS guarantee was not assigned until 5 days before the sail date.  I was most anxiously waiting to see what I would get, as the JS cabins had been sold out (per website) for weeks.  Which was why I booked the guarantee in the first place, was only thing available when I booked late.

I didn't get a JS...had to settle for a GS instead.  😉 Got very lucky, and worth the wait.  🙂

Wow that’s wonderful. We have a JS guarantee on Brilliance for Sept in the Med, no stateroom assignment yet and cruise is completely sold out !
