It's very confusing - to say the least - when certain refreshment packages include the tip and others do NOT.
I wish this would be standardized for more transparency.

Thank you. That worked!

My experience was that they wanted a medical note from my doctor in order to let me purchase the refreshment package that I didn’t even want in the first place. I can’t have more than a couple cocktails a day for more than 2 days before my stomach complains. My status would cover that and more but RC assumes everyone is a cheat. This was just before COVID, not sure if they relaxed the rules.
I'd be super interested to hear back because I've never had a drink package and the expense of having to get it would be detrimental. $24 a day for juice and water, I think not.
Also does price include the gratituty as (if I have "heard" correctly) does the Delux drink package?

So if you get the refreshment package where does one get the "specialty" coffee? I figure it's not from Starbucks?

I can't find the original post but I have check in on the app and haven't noticed where or if you upload your vaccination card?

Maybe do dinner at WJ, if open on your sailing, then you could sit outside and have a nice view of the bridge. I love eating on the outdoor patio on serenade.
I hear WJ is closed for dinner.

Is there still priority boarding for those with C&A status?

how much is the cab fare to Nochi?

MTD worked out great for the shows in the tropical. Most were at 9:30, we were making it to MTD between 7 and 7:30 and had plenty of time to refill drinks and make the theater at 9:15. The one exception was night one. With a 5 pm departure you did not go under the bridge til 7:15 or 7:30. If we had the foresight to shower and get cleaned up for dinner between 6 and 7 we could have done MTD at 7:45 and still made the show. If they go back to 4 pm departures it will not be an issue.
If traveling with unvaxed some ports are requiring ship excursions to maintain the bubble. That is something that you will have to rely on RC to let you know the restrictions for your specific cruise. Vaxed could go out on their own in Nassau. Coco Cay was open to all.
You have already been sooooooooo helpful but I want to show a non RCC cruiser all the tricks!
Maybe room service for dinner the first night? It sounds like either you eat dinner or see going under The Bridge.

I'm trying to decided what dinner option to use to maximize entertainment schedule. What were the times for the shows in the Tropical Theater. Currently we have early dining. Wondering if MTD would be better?
First seating won't work out for leaving Tampa!! Don't want to miss going under the Sky Bridge.

Serenade starboard side is the smoking side (at least on 10/16/2021 sailing). There are no vac/unvac decks, it is by venue. Unvaxed is just kids right now, so separate deck for dining. Mask wearing by vaxed was just to/from stateroom to the vaxed venues, outside no mask required. Nassau did not require ship excursions, but they did require masks.
Thank you SO MUCH. What do you mean "it is by venue" other than where you are sitting in the diningroom. I also "heard" My Time Dining is only for those vaccinated?

It's always been that way... GTY rooms have always been cheaper to begin with (although that isn't always the case these days).I'm sorry to contridict but it hasn't always been this way. You were weren't charged more for a cabin which you picked.

Then RoyslUp came along to manage the availability. I was curious with now because ships aren’t full, if anyone got one at the pier.
It used to be called the "Upgrade Fairy" Haven't heard about one in years!

I know as a business they need to make money. How long has it been since (maybe 3 years) you've had to pay more in order to pick your own cabin.

I forget is the port side the smoking side?
What decks are vaccinated and nonvaccinated?
I'm receiving first hand information that at some ports you can't get off the ship unless you book an excursion. Did this affect any of your ports?

DW and I were on the Oct. 16, I believe the first one out of Tampa this year. 900 passengers, about 40% capacity. Windjammer closed for dinner (closed at 3), so late night food a little lacking if you are into that. Park cafe may have been open til midnight or so, think they had pizza. Food in MDR was not too different, although the prime rib on the last night was not the usual quality. Masks were required transiting through the interior of the ship, no big deal. Schooner bar was not the usual lively place as the piano bar seating was blocked off. Some nights just had melodies. The pub had a decent guitar/singer. The centrum was the best place most nights, The Funk it UP band was awesome. Ship seemed to be in good shape. I'd be happy to answer any questions you have.

Thanks for asking though. We will be visiting for our first time this January. 🙂

Our last RCCL cruise in January on the Brilliance we did get a free day. I haven't seen anything about this in awhile. Cruising on the Liberty this January and need to know to prepare accordingly. Thank you.

Do they still include room service for actual breakfast (not continental)

I did notice under the perks that it said priority embarkation "when available" Thanks all.

First time Celebrity cruiser and wondering if there is priority embarkation available for Elites there?

Leaving your balcony door open shuts down part of the AC system in the cabins surrounding yours.
FALSE. Husband has been in the industry for 38 years. On some ships yours may shut down or be less effective but doesn't impact the others around you.

We learned both the scary and expensive lesson that the actual taxi drivers last call is 2:00. If you chose to stay longer you get a jitney. If the people we shared the van with didn't know this, we would have been left behind. Jitney drivers aren't allowed into the port so he tried insisting on dropping us at the ferry which was another $7 per person. He earned enough on 5 of us that the leader of our group told him he'd better be buying his wife a lobster dinner because that was what we were having for dinner that night for Valentine's Day.

First what is this "Key"?
Second is the like that Biker19 refers to for getting onto the ship?
I was told there is no priority boarding for C&A rank during COVID.
