  1. When checking in for Star Class and parking in Terminal 10 North Lot, is it recommended to drop off bags before parking or towing bags from car to terminal? We will only have 2 bags on wheels.
  2. I heartily agree with The White Star Tavern! We stayed last night in the Titanic suite. It is so spacious and comfortable! We had an English roast dinner at the restaurant yesterday afternoon (discounted 10% because we were staying at the Tavern. It was a fantastic meal — everything you can think of for a roast dinner, including Yorkshire pudding. Beautiful! The staff are all so friendly and welcoming. The reasonable room rate included an amazing hot breakfast, served to you, as much as you’d like. The room was the best we have had in Southampton. We have stayed other places. This is hospitality at its best.
  3. I live in Mexico and feel much safer here than I do north of the border. We are sensible like we are when traveling anywhere not to flash money or jewelry. The cartels are responsible for the crime you hear about on the news but if you not a member of a rival gang, you are not a person of interest to the cartel. I shudder at all the senseless killings north of the border these days.
  4. We generally choose the Club Class mini as our cabin of choice. One thing we love about it is the Club Class dining (a section of one of the main dining rooms with its own entrance) allows you to just show up during dining hours and be seated right away. You do not need to make a prior reservation or wait an extended time for a table. The extended menu does not offer many additional items. It is generally an extra entree and maybe an extra dessert which do not appear on the MDR menu. Precovid the entree was prepared right in the dining room by the Maitre d’ and always smelled wonderful. I have not as yet sailed Princess postcovid (next month!). You generally get to know your wait staff better as the smaller venue has you seeing the same waiter often. It is a more personal service, IMHO. If you are traveling with others in a suite you will be able to eat with them as it is also the suite dining room. If you have earned elite status, staying in a Club Class mini suite earns you all suite perks except breakfast in Sabatini’s.
  5. Yes you can request afternoon tea in your full suite. I believe you need to order it by morning for same day delivery. Check when you get in to your suite what the rules are. It’s been a while for me.
  6. Happy Anniversary and thank you for taking us along on your cruise. We are going on a 10 day land tour followed by the June 18th Southbound on the Royal. It will be interesting to see what things change by then. We will be celebrating our 43rd wedding anniversary on the 23rd of June. It should be a great anniversary celebration!
