    Hi All!

We are really excited about this cruise. Who else is onboard?

    Peter and Bob.

  2. Sure this is about seeing if there is interest...

So there has been interest. Plenty of views, a little talking it up on the last couple of cruises. I'd love to say that this and other efforts may have had a part to make it happen..... (Wishful thinking!)

Now, it's time to act. West coasters, specifically Northern California/Central California/Oregon, wouldn't it be nice to end your trip in San Francisco?

  3. We would love to take this cruise! One way, or, round trip would be better. We are leaving soon on our first Princess cruise to Hawaii from SF and hope to experience more itineraries from this port.

I think so too. SF is a great port!

As for Hawaii.... we did that cruise almost two years ago. One of the best. It was nice to have the long voyage out. Good decompression time! Enjoy it.

  4. So I looked it up. There has been about 1400 looks for the thread. There must be some interest in the FTL to SF direction, but thanks for the opposite.... This might my alternative.... But not my favorite. Chime on in! Princess, are you listening?

  5. Thanks and thanks for putting me at ease and the advice. I hope we have the same good experiences and I think I will attempt to signup for the Chef's table. It sounds to be a nice splurge.

So far we've had good voyages with Princess and Oceana. I think I just wanted the trip as a whole to be our second best memory -- after our wedding of course. I really hope the bridge experience is something too... since we are both somewhat geeks.

Anyway, thanks to you again. - Peter and Bob

  6. we will be there at the beginning of Nov and plan to go to the beach there too. I will be blogging so you can follow along. Any particular place you want to know about?

We are traveling on the 14th. Were you planning on posting or sharing pics? Either way,Mohave a wonderful time..

  7. Sorry all... I had to take a break from tech.

I see that there are other SF to FTL itineraries (nice), a round trip would also be nice (but not likely). Okay it's a little selfish but I think a trip FTL to SF instead might be more relaxing -- ending a trip without a flight home. Perhaps others feel the same?

I'm hoping this thread could drum up support or I can get more ideas to include in my letter . After all, a reposition will always happen, why not offer one ending in SF?

I'm on a Mexican Riviera cruise in a couple of weeks and will either talk it up or solicit for more ideas. Maybe even do a petition (unobtrusively of course) or talk up an online one.

  8. Hey there everyone,

So my newlywed husband and I are pretty sure we want to sign up for a honeymoon package available to us on our upcoming Princess cruise to the Mexican Riviera. It has roses, in cabin breakfast, massages, a cool tour of the bridge, etc...

So the question is, does anyone have experience with this particular or similar shipboard offers? Any negative or positive reactions from the staff, bridge crew, or spa techs that you might share?

I know it should be acceptable, deserving, and rightfully available, but I'd rather not have to have my full guard up or a "fight for my right" on what's to be a relaxing and memorable trip.

  9. Hi all,

I'm about to write a Dear Princess letter suggesting an itinerary that embarks Ft Lauderdale and disembarks in San Francisco. I need more points to include in my argument.

My own main reason is that I don't enjoy air travel lately - too crowded. But if I were to end a Panama Canal cruise at home (SF Bay Area), the decompress time would compensate. A 30 minute drive is so much better than a flight from cross country or from elsewhere after a relaxing cruise.

Ive come up with the following

    - It's a great appeal to the SF and the Northern Calif market (covers my reasoning).

    - Good to other surrounding markets to end in SF. Good end point to visit area after.

    - Great appeal to the Fort Lauderdale market to see beautiful SF and surrounding, ie Napa, Tahoe, etc....

    - I've seen Celebrity, SilverSea and Cunard offer this and the ships appear to be full and/or completely booked.

    - New SF terminal.

I need some more points and support. What are your thoughts? Let me know. Thanks! -Peter

  10. I couldn't find another listing under LGBT... is there anyone else going on this cruise? Bob and I would love to meet up with others... 10 days at sea, will have to occupy our time (other than relaxing). Looking forward to the time off! - Cheers! - Peter
