  1. I also spoke to the resolutions team, they admitted that they are not up to date but as of now the website says testing is still required for Brilliance since it visits Greece.

They advised us to check again closer to our sailing date in case there are any updates.

  2. There was an update effective Sept 24 that Greece no longer requires pre cruise testing for those up to date with vaccines.

Many cruise lines updated their policies like Celebrity, Azamara, Carnival, Princess, and Seabourn..but unfortunately both Royal Caribbean and NCL did not update yet on their website..unfortunately, both employed a shared healthy sailing panel board that are slow to update.

Just heard that NCL Jade was still asking for negative antigen or PCR test before boarding for fully vaccinated guests yesterday from Piraeus sailing.

So the fact that some lines are slow to update their health protocols for sailings that visit Greece, it is creating confusion.

Just be aware that you can't really test it.

If they accept your bid, you're committed.  So I wouldn't bid more than you're actually willing to pay.

No problem, as the higher stateroom prices are so high, that even if I placed a maximum bid and they accepted it, it is still way way cheaper than paying additional to upgrade.

  4. So do you mean that Silver Dining is a ala carte in the evening when you said that they have an appetizer and main course menu? Good enough for me if dinner in Silver Dining is ala carte ad I don't like buffets.

In Quantum/Ovation, the music hall Diamond Club is a temporary setup when there are  alot of Diamonds and westerners in longer cruises from China, but on shorter 5 night or less cruises where it is mostly locals so less Diamonds, we are all in the Concierge Lounge at the back, including Diamonds.

So for the cruise tomorrow where it is just 5 nights, possible that it will be mostly locals and less Diamonds as it is a short cruise, so we will see if they still will use the Music Hall, there is a possibility that the happy hour will be at the Silver Lounge if there are only a few Diamonds... this is the original setup, but Silver Lounge lacked a bar that might be a reason they held it at the Music Hall 2nd floor as there is a bar there for the happy hour.. but it is quite noisy in the Music Hall for a lounge, especially when there is an activity going on the first floor.

  5. I am Diamond Plus and in a Silver Suite.. talk about redundant benefits..but I booked more than a year in advance so back then, the benefits are not clear yet.

Are Diamond Plus members allowed to access to Gold Dining area and lounge on the top deck? Diamond Plus have access to both Diamond and Concierge lounge.. so if the Silver Lounge equals Diamond Lounge and Gold Lounge equals Concierge Lounge.. technically they should give Diamond Plus access to the Gold area.

I prefer the Gold Dining due to table service after learning that Silver Suite dining is a buffet.

Had I known earlier that I have access to Silver Dining regardless of cabin as a Diamond Plus, would have booked a balcony at half the price.

  6. Wow... this page is by far the best info avail in the internet regarding Gold/Silver Suite and Diamond and up C&A perks on Spectrum.. which remained a mystery for me until I read this...as I know this ship is entirely different Suite and C&A perks vs all other Royal Caribbean ships... including the upcoming Ultra Quantum class Odyssey of the Seas as it has the usual Diamond and Concierge Club lounges and Suite Perks like the rest of the fleet.

I searched for this a long time for and not sure why I was able to find this page only now when my Spectrum of the Seas cruise is in 2 weeks.

And I just found out that Silver Dining is buffet just like Solarium Bistro, I initially thought it is like Coastal Kitchen.

Unfortunately, I have redundant benefits of having access to the Silver Area and Solarium as I am booked on a Silver Junior Suite and I am Diamond Plus..

I would love trying the Gold Dining but unfortunately, Royal Up is no longer offered for Spectrum and it is very expensive for me to move up to Golden Balcony or Golden JS as I booked this Silver Junior Suite at such a ridiculously low price way back more than a year ago when Spectrum was still under construction.

That's how I would interpret the terms, but I suspect that Royal will disagree.  Otherwise the $35 limit would be easily circumvented.

I interpret it as $35 each visit, and you can visit it twice.

HERE’S HOW IT WORKS: • For one low price, your clients can enjoy their meals at our specialty restaurants as many times as they’d like, based on availability. – For instance, if they want to eat at the same restaurant twice in one night, they can! • For specialty restaurants with a la carte pricing, the Unlimited Dining Package grants your clients a $35 food credit per person for each visit. • Chef’s Table and culinary activities are excluded. • Package does not include beverages, but does provide 40% off bottles of wine under $100, and 20% off bottles over $100.
