  1. The answer is 'Yes" for Viking Ocean cruises.
  2. When we were there in March this year, Sapphire Princess anchored in Panwa Bay, southeast coast of the island. The tender pier is called Dolphin Pier, which is about 8 miles south of Phuket City.
  3. Here is what you can expect based on our 2017 Viking cruise with free air and transfer: Our flight arrived Amsterdam 8:45 AM. We waited in the airport for more arriving passengers before leaving around 10 AM. We boarded the ship docked short distance from the Central Station around 10:30 AM. They wrote down our room numbers and told us to have lunch in the Aquavit Lounge starting at 11:00 AM and they would call us when our room is ready. Shortly after 11:30 AM, we were in our room with our luggage. We spent the rest of the day sightseeing (museums and canal cruise, etc.). One of the smoothest embarkations we ever experienced. Enjoy!
  4. We were on the Sapphire this early March and these were the MDR dinner times: Savoy (Deck 5 Midship) - 5:30p - 9:30p Anytime Vivaldi (Deck 5 Midship) - 5:30p 1st Seating; 7:30p - 9:30p Anytime Santa Fe (Deck 6 Midship) - 5:30p - 9:30p Club Class Pacific Moon (Deck 6 Midship) - 5:30p - 9:30p Anytime International (Deck 6 Aft) - 5:30p 1st Seating; 8p 2nd Seating We had Vivaldi 1st Seating and there were many empty tables. They were accepting some anytime after about 6p.
  5. None of the staterooms in the section is interconnecting, according to several sites I checked - https://www.cruisedeckplans.com/DP/deckplans/Caribbean-Princess
