If you have an infinite veranda cabin some people have cracked the window ever so slightly and it has helped. Don't open enough to have a/c stop. Just like an 1/8 of an inch.

Oh but it is available at the same booking terms for $200 less.

I did use OBC to book two of the shore excursions. For some reason I have only seen the SV sunset cabins available under guaranty at this particular TA website. I checked others and it does not appear as available. I advised the TA to not do anything for only $200 since the savings exceeded that amount booking excursions and the premium drink package. I might call Celebrity myself to try to get more info as to why they are not willing to just reprice the same reservation.

The cruise drop price and the original price contain the exact same OBC and the $200 saving. The original price was just the cabin with no perks. For some reason the guantee cabin for the Sunset verandas did not have any perks offered. I just do not know why they cannot just keep the reservation and just adjust the price. Celebrity advised the TA that it needed to be cancelled. Probably because they know I would not cancel the shore excursions or the premium beverage package all booked at 40% off regu.lar price.

Today I noticed that the price of my cruise booking dropped a total of $200. I called my TA and advised them and then I received a response about 4 hours later which is confusing. I booked a sunset veranda guarantee cabin (SV) for the 4/12 sailing on the beyond. We do not like the infinite veranda. The total price was $4906 and today I noticed the price dropped to $4706. The TA advised that in order to apply the price drop, the shore excursions that I booked which were five of them would have to be cancelled and rebooked. Which is not what I want because I booked them during the 40% sale a few weeks ago. They would cancel the booking and then re-book at the new cabin rate. Is this correct? I assumed everything would stay as is but just apply the new price. Stephen

I see Celebrity is taking 40% off four cards for deal or no deal game onboard. My question is can you use one card at 4 different sessions or do you use all four for one game? There is no date designation when you try to buy them. Thanks Steve

I agree 100%. Celebrity is double dipping its customers. They raise prices significantly as well as lower the food quality and make small cutbacks. At some point customers will seek another cruise company and they may or may not get that customer back down the road. We had a local restaurant here do this exact thing about six months ago. Several of our friends and I stopped going. I guess we were not the only people who did so since they closed last week. Prior to their money grab policy they were doing a pretty good business.

Oh Gosh I did not realize it has been only 2 weeks ago. Probably need to wait and re-ask this question a little later on. I was on the Apex in early April of this year and thought the food was fine.

Can anyone who has been on the beyond in the last two months advise how the food quality has been. Have read comments from the boards regarding a drop in food quality and from a neighbor but want to know if the change has affected the Edge class ships and specifically the Beyond. Have six people looking to book a cruise on the Beyond in early 2024. Thanks

Thanks all for the info and comments. I have booked Aqua several times and enjoy Blu most of the time especially breakfast. We do always run into a couple of times where the menu that night was not to our liking and we would order off the main dining room menu. Just did not know with the Apex whether they offered the ability to do so.

My wife and I are elite level with Celebrity. March 25th we are sailing on the Apex for the first time. We booked Aqua class and thus dining in Blu. I was wondering if they allow ordering off the main dining menu if nothing hits us on the Blu menu. Also any suggestions or tips for the Apex would be welcomed. Steve

I got off the Equinox on October 15th. Peter Baker was going on vacation and Eddy Jenkins is now the cruise director. Peter was great.

I need to obtain travel insurance for my cruise on October 6th. When do you need to book it by and still be covered for everything including pre- exisiting conditions and covid related issues? Recommendations for a company to use is also welcome.

I am booked on the October 6th Equinox sailing. Covid numbers are rapidly rising and unsure what to do. What options do I have? My final payment date is June 28th. I applied FCC as a deposit and can cover the remaining cost of the cruise with remaining FCC. Before final payment can I cancel the cruise and book next March? My FCC expires May 6th of 2023. After final payment I assume there is no way to move the cruise? If not I either go or lose the FCC? Any assistance would be appreciated.

So I am now looking at the sunset veranda cabin on the 6th deck and wonder if any of the balcony is covered above and can people right above see into our balcony. Overall impression of the cabin?

Sorry incorrect. Spoke to my travel agent and they said minimum is two people and can be booked.
