  1. Hi all, Can anyone tell me what , if anything, happens if when your cruise is cancelled and Princess gives you a "Recommended Alternate Cruise", do you have to take one they offer or can you take one going anywhere. I read that if you take their recommended cruise they move everything over that was originally booked together with all perks and extras. Would this happen if you did a cruise other than their "recommended cruises".

  3. Sure, you are our friends and all friends are invited.
  4. Do not get rid of the PATTER. It is an important part of cruise life and information.
  5. I am about to cruise to New Zealand in December this year, 2021, and would like to know what your opinion is of WHEN TO BUY TRAVEL INSURANCE. Is it as soon as you book your cruise or closer to the final date of payment? Thank You
  6. Travel Insurance for the 80 year olds is an absolute disgrace. I have tried 4 insurance companies and with the exception of one of them, the Insurance Companies do not want to sell you Cruise Insurance, or you are too old, or the price for the Insurance is astronomical. One of these companies divided both husband and wife into two separate policies because the male was 4 years older that the female, and they wanted more money for a 13 day cruise to New Zealand than what the cruise fare cost just for the male partner, and that was a well known Travel Insurance Company. The ages for the two people travelling are 85 and 81 and in good health and are quite active. They did not claim any existing medical problems. What has been your problems, if any, when you go to buy Travel Insurance.
  7. Hi out there, who can advise a good Travel Insurance Company that will cover older passengers without all the third degree questions, etc. I do not mind giving my health records, but some need to know if I smoke (which I don't) and how many a day; what is the maximum number of steps I can do without getting out of breath (I think 20 would be the most of any cruise ship going from deck to deck); Do I drink alcohol, and if so how many in a day. Next they will be asking what my sex life is like (boy I could make them laugh with my answer). Anyway, can you advise who you have used on your cruises . . . Thanks.
  8. Does anybody know if Princess allow you to pay, say half now and half later on your final payment which is not due till September 2021. All other costs have been paid. Thank you
  9. Well I hope they open it up by December 2012, We are on the Royal Princess. 7th December.
  10. I see that you are Kiwi's, so please talk to your PM and tell her we will bring some money over for her and open the borders soon. I will be very disappointed if they are not open for my cruise on 7th December 2021.
