For my February Beyond sailing, it is now showing in the app for $85, with a huge sale markdown to $77.99. We booked it during one of the previous sailings for around $45.
Coupled with the removal of any OBC with suite bookings, I guess my upcoming two reservations will be my last.

Same here. I love Celebrity, but not to the point where I will allow myself to be taken advantage of.

I am confused on the specialty dinner credit included in the free at sea. We are on a 7 day cruise in a club balcony cabin. Do we get two specialty meals, one per each of us, or do we each get two specialty meals? It is too soon to make reservations but I want to be ready! Thank you in advance!

Loving your real time review! Will you be eating in Eden? I've seen some video and am wondering if the entertainment is happening while you are trying to eat or if it is before or maybe between courses. I am looking forward to trying the food in Eden, but I also want to be able to see what I'm eating.

You showed me once before you started this thread, but can you show Starborad A1 9240 again?
-
Yes, for Vermont. :D
We are Mainers so know the draw to the Caribbean for some much needed sun and warmth during those long winters! :D:D

Nice AQ on the corner of the bump out!
Thanks VT (could the VT be for Vermont?) We are really looking forward to watching the MC in action!

We'll be in A1 cabin 9240, starboard side, March 31, 2019. Would you be kind and post a closeup of that one? Thank you in advance!

Now that she is built, I am actually glad that we chose a starboard side A1 cabin so we can people watch the MC.

Thank you! I had gone to shipspotting, but didn't use the link Lloyd posted so I wasn't in the right spot!

How are you watching? I have searched the internet and can't find a live stream, it's kind of driving me nuts!

No buffet type place like place like windjammer ??
The initial screen of the Facebook live presentation showed they will still have the buffet, the pool food, Cafe el Bacio and those types of "every ship" places. :)

Do you know when she will sailing as a friend is taking that ship at the end of March
She starts on the Equinox on March 24th.

My husband and I just recently used Lyft (which is basically the same as Uber) for the first time last month, after having the same reluctance. It was so easy and we had the nicest drivers and very clean cars both times. I highly recommend using one of these services when you have the need. We will never use a regular taxi again! Everything is handled through the app, including the fare and the tip.

Pam, if you do follow through with this, will you please post your thoughts? DH and I are going to be there next year and he would like to try jet skiing. I like the fact that it also includes snorkeling time and I think it would be great for us.
Thank you in advance and have a great trip!

Loving this review and am finally caught up! I have a question about formal nights in the specialty restaurants. I love formal nights as it is the only time I ever get to dress up (and force DH to do so also!) and I had planned on getting the four or five specialty dinner package on our Reflection cruise in January. On formal nights when you ate in a specialty restaurant (specifically Murano and Tuscan Grill), were any other diners dressed formally? On our past cruises we have eaten in the MDR on formal nights and have just assumed that the formal dress would carry over to the restaurants.
If only the weather had been better, you would have been thrilled with those iced towels when you came back to the ship from being ashore! Pure heaven on a hot day :)

Gambee, this is my first post ever and I've been a member of CC since 2008 ish. I have always been a 'voyeur' and just read everyone's posts and reviews, but I just had to tell you that your review was absolutely fantastic and I can't wait to see how you feel about Celebrity and the Silhouette!
Hi to Gambee's Mom and Gambee's Boyfriend as well! I hope to sail with you all some day and enjoy a drink (or several) together!! :)
Getting to Manhattan Cruise Terminal on May 5, day of 5 Boro Bike Tour
in East Coast Departures
Posted
We are booked in the Omni Berkshire on E 52nd Street the night of the 4th and just found out today there is a huge bike tour the day of the 5th which will shut down many streets from 7:30 am until well past the time the ship will sail. If the streets are shut down to cars, will we be able to walk to the port and cross those streets? I really don't want to rebook to a different hotel if we don't have to since the Omni offers a very nice military discount. This is our first time leaving from this port and only our third time in the city overall so I really don't know how to plan for this.
