For us, definitely a room with a BIG window! Great view from it, and both the ship and room were beautiful, but still prefer a traditional balcony. Not that we wouldn't book an IV again, but not our first choice.

I absolutely love it!! I hate the cowboys. Most overrated team year after year!

I wonder what the earliest is someone has ever been notified? Seems like most of the time it is right before departure.

Not sure why you have such an issue with sharing a link to help someone out. Most experienced cruisers understand nothing is guaranteed to be as posted, especially nowadays, regardless of the source of the info. Seemed like a helpful list to give them an idea of what there is.

Nope....this was in WJ on ovation.

Royal was charging for ice cream on Ovation back in April coming up from Sydney. That was our final Royal cruise with all their cutbacks and changes.

I have never seen the upgrade price offered at more than 5% off. That would be great to find something much better for future cruises. Thanks!

I think if you start the second cookie while still eating the first cookie, it is just a continuation, and therefore, only 1 cookie!!

We stayed at the Doubletree Centraal Station and enjoyed it and thought the location was great!

Celebrity has excellent singers and musicians, but Royal can really shine with their production shows, especially the Broadway shows. We really like "In the Air" on Liberty and Saturday Night Fever is OK. Wife likes it more than I do. Many of Royals guest performers as the same that we have all seen on almost every ship/line. And some are people we don't ever care to see again!! (Frankie and the Dreamers)

What more can be added! COOKIE COOKIE COOKIE!!! Didn't know they were back to offering to let passengers cook again. Last year on Silhouette we couldn't do that.

Same as you.... we have jumped over to Celebrity. I cannot imagine they will make those same cleaning cutbacks. That would cause quite an uproar on Celebrity!

We were on that as well, and outside of the ports, it was the WORST cruise we have taken. Did not care for voyager at all, and the staff was not the typical friendly, helpful staff we have become used to. There were a few here and there, but overall, not a good experience at all!

And that is the key right there! I have no problem with 1 cleaning each evening, but we like to have ice in our room all day, and don't want to be carrying an ice bucket around like we are at a Hampton Inn!!

Sadly, I wouldn't bet on that. Which is why our last cruise on them is next month, and THAT"S ALL for us! Onto Celebrity and looking at Oceania as well.

Check out Your Day Tours (Small Group Day tours in Iceland | Your Day Tours) in Iceland. We used them twice last year to do the Golden Circle and South Coast tour, and they are great to work with, and both tours were excellent!

Elite breakfast was in Le Grand Bistro on deck 4. I believe the times were from 8 to 10 am each day. We found the mattress to be quite nice and firm. But that is how we like a mattress.

We were on in January and absolutely loved Fine Cut. My prime rib was huge and OH SO tender and flavorful! Also had a very good meal at Rooftop Garden Grill....love the ambiance dining there. LPC was good, but not our favorite menu that they offer. We also enjoyed Eden and would dine there again.
