I enjoy the free specialty coffees from the expresso machine in the morning and mid afternoon . -
I dont like the background noise the fountains make . The water streams also add to the humidity level in the space.

For me , a 7 day with ocean view balcony on an Oasis class shjp. We get the 4 free diamond drinks now , and if we wanted upscale dining we would get a 3 day dining package , although we find the included food is fine with us. We had a crown loft and enjoyed the suite lounge and coastal kitchen , but for less than half price i would opt for the balcony cabin now. -

Cover bands were my favorite type of entertainment . Rock the Boat was a real good one. On our first cruise many years ago on the Voyager we saw a Beatles cover band. They were so good we saw the show twice in one night.

We do this also , we check a 26 inch luggage each and have a small tote bag much like a purse that we keep with us. Im not into shlepping around heavy baggage on boarding day.

Im a big DP fan. Have been for 50 years and still listen to their tunes. Funky Claude was running in and out , pulling kids out the ground.

Think twice about booking a promenade view cabin

Yep , i agree . I wont do either of those , as i pick my location to avoid any noise. Cabins above and below me and not across from any service doors. And near the back of the ship to lessen the foot traffic. -
Possibly having teens stay on a different floor?

Be aware that you may get a cabin in an undesirable location . I always book an ocean view balcony on Oasis class sandwiched between cabins above and below me and not across from service areas. I wouldnt consider it an upgrade to a suite on deck 14 under the pool deck with chairs being dragged around in the early morning.

That sounds pretty bad . I only go on Oasis class and did not experience what you did. I hear Princess does Alaskan cruises , but you would need to do some research . Ive only done one Princess cruise many years ago.

I dont think they used sound engineering principles , but if its on the internet its got to be true 😃 Food has probably gone down in quality , but i always found something edible and did come back a few pounds heavier myself. 🙂

Just google average weight gain on a cruise , its ok, i did it for you . Its anywhere from 3 to 10 pounds . So , i would say the food is somewhat edible and you wont go hungry .😀 Dont worry too much about the food reviews. Enjoy your cruise !

Your review is a must read for anyone with allergies . Well done ! Very detailed and im glad you broke up the posts into paragraphs for easier reading. RC certainly looked after you to make your cruise memorable . Glad you enjoyed the trip .

I watched a youtube video and they said the room gets extremely humid and takes a while to cool back down once you close the window. That made up my mind never to book one of those cabins. I will stick with a traditional balcony .

Only place i get wet on a cruise is in my shower . 😂 -
I put on a robe once for about 2 minutes . Dont wear one at home and dont have any use for them on a cruise .

I personally would rather be closer to the cruise terminal on sail day . So i would pick Miami .
