  1. Thanks everyone, we will use the app. appreciate the help
  2. We have checkin, later this week, and I just wanted to verify, we are able to skip uploading selfies and passports and come back and do that later, correct? I want to do check in for our entire group, to grab our check in time, but won’t have all that with me as it will be midnight When I’m doing this. Thank you as always for the help.
  3. We have had The Key in the past but it’s been awhile. Do you still get priority boarding ( after the suites, pinnacle) guests or do you just get to enter port easier? We are sailing out of Port Canaveral. Thanks N
  4. We will be cruising this summer with our grandchildren (4 YoB and 8 YoG) for the first time. Tell me about the process for registering them for the kids club, etc. They may not be in there all the time but we know they will want to check it out a few times. What else do we need to know about traveling on Carnival with kids? THANKS!!
  5. We have a port day next week at Port Canaveral. We have friends who want to drive down and hang out. What terminal is RC using for Port Days? I think Terminal 7 is their sailing port, but was not sure it is they same for port days. THANKS
  6. Staying in a Spa Suite cabin on the Magic and one of the amenities listed is " Unique Welcome Ritual". Anyone know what this is? I am assuming priority boarding but I have never seen this term before. Thanks
  7. Sailing this weekend and most in my group are also avoiding Cedar Grove parking and are opting to park at the Airport and Uber over.
  8. Has any read or learned of any changes Carnival/Norfolk is making to the embarkation process in Norfolk this fall. Every cruise last spring there were posts concerning the cluster that it was and how Carnival was planning to talk to Norfolk about changes.
  9. Sppedtest is recording Starlinks faster than it actually is most of the time. I would prefer to see a speedtest off the starlink app, but assuming that is not possible on the ship. We have had Starlink since April and it has been a game changer for those of us who live in rural areas.
  10. One of our favorite places on any ship and we were totally underwhelmed last month with Miracle Piano bar.
  11. Just off miracle. There is one near the desk and also, we were able to use one behind our TV. This with the power strip was enough for us but we did have to remember to plug and replug in things.
  12. They really do not have a sitting area, arrive early and just hang out in your car until closer to check-in time or you see the lines forming otherwise you will be standing on hot concrete.
  13. Did they have rafts and such to rent at South Beach if we decide we want them?
  14. We have rented jeeps in Skagway next week and are planning on doing the drive into Canada. Do we need to do a 2nd ArriveCan filing or is the one we do to get on the ship enough? Thanks!
  15. Assuming you are on a back to back, Carnival will transfer your information over to the 2nd cruise per many posts I have read.
  16. I know this has been gone over before but I’m still confused…. I need this spelled out to me in English I guess. We are scheduled to sail to Alaska on June 20th I MUST attend an in person staff meeting next week for work (June 2), there will be 85 in attendance and I have done all I can to get out of attending it but cannot. I plan to stay away from everyone as much as possible and wear a N95 mask to protect myself from catching Covid. Besides this meeting my husband and I are pretty much in lock down trying not to get sick before we fly across country and then sail. Based on the statement from Carnival below and if I am reading this and doing the math correctly IF one of us were to watch Covid BEFORE June 10th all we need to bring with is a copy of our in person positive Covid test BUT if we were to test positive June 11 - June 20 we cannot go without a negative test or we cannot go at all? As for this Document of Recovery - Do I need a note from my Doctor that I am okay to travel along with the copy of the “positive viral test result from a certified laboratory (dated no more than 90 days prior to the sailing date)”. ? I have read some say yes and some say no yet no one is sharing where it says yes or no to the Dr. Note. Is there anyone here who has sailed under the Document of Recovery rules and can personally tell me their experience? I am beyond stressed out over not understanding the dates involved and what to do if I do get Covid from this stupid June 2nd meeting. From Carnival’s Site: Document of Recovery Guests who have recovered from COVID-19 within 3 months of their sailing date do not need the required pre-cruise test if they are at least 10 days past their positive test result date, have no symptoms and produce document of recovery from COVID-19. A Document of Recovery is accepted from both fully vaccinated and unvaccinated guests (with a Carnival-approved exemption) and consists of a paper or electronic copy of the positive viral test result from a certified laboratory (dated no more than 90 days prior to the sailing date).
  17. Here is the scenario - Traveling on Carnival with 3 other couples next month. Three have suites, one does not. I know with Suites we have to do the online check-in and then can arrive at that time or after and have priority boarding. The 3rd, couple, the one without the suite, they are registered with wheelchair assist boarding. Do they need to do the online check-in for a boarding time as well? If they do, and I am assuming they do and they get a much later boarding time that the other couples, can they just board with us? Thanks for any info you can provide on this.
